- • Acquire new enterprise customers within the developer, platform engineering, and security teams by identifying, nurturing, and closing high-value sales opportunities in the technical SaaS market.
- • Exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets through proactive lead generation, pipeline development, and strategic account expansion, focusing on startups, digital natives, and large-scale enterprises.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients, building trusted, long-term relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction through consultative selling and ongoing engagement.
- • Evangelize Diagrid’s products—including Dapr and Diagrid Catalyst—to technical and executive stakeholders, delivering compelling product demonstrations that articulate the value of abstracted infrastructure and secure AI agent platforms.
- • Expand usage within existing accounts by identifying new use cases, engaging new users within customer organizations, and driving seat expansion and upsell opportunities.
- • Manage and accurately forecast the sales pipeline using HubSpot, ensuring all leads, opportunities, and interactions are logged, updated, and tracked with precision.
- • Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitor activity, and customer pain points, using insights to refine sales messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
- • Collaborate closely with customer success, product, and marketing teams to align sales efforts with product roadmap and customer feedback loops, acting as the primary voice of the customer internally.
- • Collect, synthesize, and relay detailed product feedback from enterprise customers to internal teams to inform feature prioritization, UX improvements, and product evolution.
- • Deliver high-impact sales presentations and technical demos tailored to technical buyers (developers, architects, security teams) and executive decision-makers (CTOs, CIOs, engineering VPs).
- • Build and implement sales processes from the ground up in a fast-growing startup environment, creating structure where none exists to scale revenue operations effectively.
- • Act as a brand ambassador for Diagrid externally with customers and internally with cross-functional teams, embodying the company’s mission of simplifying distributed systems through open-source APIs.
- • Maintain deep product expertise in Dapr (CNCF-graduated project) and Diagrid Catalyst, while also positioning oneself as an industry thought leader on distributed systems, cloud-native infrastructure, and AI agent reliability.
- • Navigate complex, multi-threaded enterprise sales cycles involving technical evaluation, security reviews, and procurement processes with agility and strategic focus.
- • Travel occasionally for in-person customer meetings, industry events, and team gatherings as needed to strengthen relationships and support sales objectives.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of technology sales experience with a preference for technical SaaS products and/or infrastructure
- • 5-10+ years of quota-carrying sales closing experience with a track record of over-performance
- • Experience on a fast-growing sales team with a preference for startup and product-led companies
- • Strong communicator, both verbal and written, with great poise and concise articulation
- • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, diverse, and highly collaborative team environment
