Kong Inc. is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Enterprise Account Manager to join our expanding team in Mumbai, India.   • As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact and the trusted face of Kong for our enterprise prospects. Your core responsibility will be to drive the sales of the Kong Enterprise Platform into large, complex organizations. This involves developing and executing a comprehensive pipeline generation strategy, meticulously crafted to foster a viable and long-term business for both Kong and our clients. You will be instrumental in acquiring new customers and expanding our footprint within the enterprise sector.
  • Success in this role hinges on your ability to meet and exceed individual sales quotas and objectives. This requires a proactive and strategic approach to territory account planning and accurate forecasting. You will take complete ownership of your book of business, delving deep into understanding and documenting the unique buying criteria and processes of each enterprise client. Identifying appropriate sales motions and patterns, ensuring pipeline accuracy based on concrete evidence, and diligently working leads from initial contact to successful closure will be paramount.
  • Collaboration is key to delivering a seamless and exceptional customer experience. You will work hand-in-hand with internal teams, including Product, Marketing, and Customer Success. This cross-functional synergy ensures that our sales efforts are perfectly aligned with evolving customer needs and that we present a unified and professional front to the market. Your ability to represent Kong with the utmost professionalism and to support our customers to the best of your ability will be a defining characteristic of your success.
  • This role demands a significant level of engagement with clients, often requiring travel to customer sites. You should be prepared to travel between 30% and 50% of the time to foster strong relationships and understand client environments firsthand. This travel is essential for building trust, demonstrating the value of Kong's solutions, and ensuring our customers derive maximum benefit from their investment.
  • We are looking for individuals who possess a genuine desire to see customers succeed and benefit from the solutions they implement. Your ability to leverage established relationships and proven sales techniques will be crucial.
