- • The Epic Application Analyst role is critical to SSM Health’s IT Revenue Cycle Growth Team, ensuring the effective configuration, implementation, and support of Epic applications to optimize hospital billing and revenue cycle operations across four states.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include building requirements into configuration and business process changes, providing routine maintenance and standard builds for Epic applications, analyzing vendor software updates for business impact, troubleshooting application issues, coding complex functions such as application tables and reports, updating testing scripts, mentoring less experienced colleagues, leading small projects, analyzing technical requirements using data and flowcharts, and solving complex problems through multi-source judgment.
- • The team is part of SSM Health IHT’s Growth - Revenue Cycle department, focused on onboarding new acquisitions and building new Epic departments to support organizational expansion and improve patient financial outcomes through best-in-class revenue cycle solutions.
- • In this role, the individual will deepen their Epic expertise, gain leadership experience in project coordination, strengthen cross-functional collaboration with clinical and business teams, and contribute directly to improving patient financial experience outcomes through strategic build and implementation initiatives.
