  • • As a Payments Activation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role within the EverCommerce Payments team, specifically supporting our Invoice Simple and Joist product lines. Your primary mission will be to onboard small business owners onto our SaaS payment features, driving early product adoption and increasing processing volume.
  • • This role is crucial for ensuring our new customers successfully integrate and utilize our payment solutions, fostering confidence and driving revenue growth for both our clients and EverCommerce.
  • • You will be responsible for high-volume outbound outreach, engaging merchants through proactive calls and other communication channels to encourage the adoption of our payment features.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be developing a deep and comprehensive understanding of our payments platform, including its various workflows, features, and functionalities. This knowledge will enable you to effectively educate and guide customers on how to best collect online payments.
  • • You will conduct concise and action-oriented activation conversations, focusing on enabling merchants to process payments swiftly and efficiently. This includes clearly explaining essential details such as processing rates, funding timelines, refund procedures, chargeback management, and deposit processes.
  • • Your objective will be to execute short, efficient calls that identify and resolve any blockers preventing activation, confirm merchant readiness, and guide them towards their first successful transaction.
  • • A proactive and high-touch, high-cadence outreach strategy is essential. You will consistently follow up with merchants via calls, emails, and automated nudges to ensure their payments are processed without delay and to address any emerging issues.
  • • You will guide new users through their entire first live transaction, from initiation to deposit confirmation, reinforcing their confidence in the EverCommerce payments experience and ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • • A critical part of your contribution will be to meticulously capture common merchant objections, frequently asked questions, and points of friction. This valuable feedback will be relayed to the Product and Operations teams to drive continuous improvements in speed, usability, and conversion rates of our payment solutions.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to directly impact customer success and contribute to the growth of EverCommerce Payments by ensuring a seamless and effective activation process for our diverse client base.
