• • As an Exchange Platform Operations Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing and optimizing our cutting-edge trading platforms, ensuring their stability, efficiency, and continuous evolution. • • Our team currently supports over a dozen products operating 24/7 for a global clientele. These products encompass essential financial services operations such as deposits, withdrawals, and identity verification, alongside advanced offerings like staking, spot trading, instant buy/sell, margin trading, futures, and an NFT marketplace.
• • The Exchange Operations team acts as the day-to-day stewards of the products and services developed by our Product & Engineering (P&E) teams. This involves critical tasks such as dynamically adjusting margin system parameters in response to heightened market volatility, ensuring the platform remains robust and responsive under all conditions.
• • You will manage a team with shared responsibilities for system stability, working closely with the Operational Resilience incident response team and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Spot, Margin, and Derivatives markets, including crucial middle-office support.
• • A key aspect of this role is the accountability to implement and define best-in-class processes and practices across all supported products, driving operational excellence and ensuring seamless execution.
• • You will collaborate extensively with a diverse range of cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Compliance, Finance, and Client Support. This collaborative effort is essential to drive innovation, foster automation, champion continuous improvement, and enhance the auditability of our trading operations.
• • Leveraging technology developed by our P&E teams, you will be responsible for updating configurations, implementing new risk controls, launching and removing markets, and generally managing the platform's operational integrity.
• • The goal is to establish a level of operational reliability and expertise such that the P&E teams are minimally involved in day-to-day adjustments needed to resolve client issues, allowing them to focus on strategic development.
• • You will proactively identify and resolve gaps in operational coverage for P&E teams, ensuring comprehensive support and minimizing potential disruptions.
• • A significant part of your role will be to demonstrate the tangible value of operations work to Product, Engineering, and other key stakeholders, highlighting the impact of your team's contributions.
• • You will be instrumental in the governance of trading policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to internal standards and external regulations.
• • Furthermore, you will oversee the product development of critical internal tools, such as the futures administration system and the exchange control center, enhancing our operational capabilities.
• • This role demands a proactive, high-energy individual who is always ready to address platform issues, regardless of when they arise – be it a Wednesday afternoon, a late Friday night, or a Sunday morning. The crypto market never sleeps, and neither do we.
