• • In this pivotal role, you will significantly enhance the delivery of the world's most complex and interesting projects by spearheading the deployment of specialized project controls systems. Your involvement will span the entire implementation lifecycle, from meticulous requirements gathering and identifying critical business challenges to recommending optimal systems, configuring them with best-in-class industry practices, and driving user training and adoption to ensure tangible impact.
• • While we work with a diverse range of systems, this position specifically requires expertise in deploying Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) and/or Primavera Unifier. A strong command of planning within Primavera P6 is essential. Experience with platforms such as Oracle Aconex, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Oracle Fusion ERP will be considered a significant asset. You will lead the technological aspects of implementations, but with an equally strong emphasis on people and process, necessitating exceptional communication skills.
• • You will become an integral part of a rapidly expanding team focused on the sales and implementation of project controls systems. • • As part of our Project Management Consultancy, you will contribute to understanding and solving real-world project problems, implementing effective solutions, and developing scalable best practices, tools, and technology. Within the Integrated Project Controls Systems (IPCS) team, you will be at the forefront of improving complex project delivery through the strategic deployment of leading software solutions.
• • Your primary objectives will be to drive construction projects towards near-perfection, create scalable and repeatable solutions for recurring challenges, and foster the continuous development of yourself and those around you. Your key responsibilities include owning the implementation plan from assessment to achievable outcomes, designing and configuring scalable, optimized, and fit-for-purpose solutions on Oracle systems leveraging your planning and project controls expertise, managing both people and processes by engaging stakeholders and ensuring understanding of new tools and procedures, providing clear and actionable reports to stakeholders at all levels to enhance project efficiency, and actively contributing to the personal and professional development of your team and clients.
• • We are seeking a dynamic individual capable of configuring and deploying flagship Oracle systems, supported by a strong foundation in planning and project controls within the construction industry. While expertise across all listed tools is not mandatory, a broader knowledge base is advantageous. Your construction industry experience is highly valued, enabling you to configure systems that genuinely address the daily challenges faced by project teams. A passion for learning and a willingness to delve into documentation to find solutions are crucial. This is a technical role, but equally important is your ability to communicate effectively, engage stakeholders, and align teams towards a shared vision. Your attitude, drive, and interpersonal skills are paramount, complemented by a knack for Oracle system configuration and practical planning/project controls experience. • • You will be exposed to a variety of complex and interesting projects, including data centres, major infrastructure programs like HS2, power generation and transmission projects, and high-containment labs. You will work with major owners/operators and main contractors on projects ranging from £1m to £1bn+, with a flexible working arrangement that balances remote work, site visits, client meetings, and office collaboration.
