- • This role is designed for a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive community engagement strategy. Your primary objective will be to establish Getting Attention as an indispensable resource for community and marketing guidance within the nonprofit sector. You will be instrumental in creating meaningful touchpoints with nonprofits, fostering trust, providing valuable education, and advocating for their success, ultimately growing the audience for our services and strengthening our brand reputation.
- • A core aspect of your responsibility will be to actively monitor and engage with Getting Attention's social media channels. This involves identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to connect with current clients, nonprofit professionals, and other key stakeholders within the sector. You will proactively participate in relevant nonprofit-focused online communities, such as Reddit, LinkedIn groups, and industry forums, by offering expert advice, sharing insights, and contributing to discussions in a helpful and constructive manner. Furthermore, you will be tasked with building and nurturing our own owned communities, transforming them into highly valued, go-to resources for nonprofit marketing best practices and strategic guidance.
- • A significant part of this role involves client education and retention. You will be responsible for hosting regular virtual sessions, including engaging Zoom workshops and interactive Q&A sessions. These events will be designed to empower nonprofit staff, leadership teams, and boards of directors with a deeper understanding of the Google Ad Grant program and how Getting Attention's services can be leveraged to achieve their objectives. By actively listening to and gathering client feedback through these community interactions and events, you will provide invaluable insights to our internal teams, driving continuous improvement in our service delivery and client support.
- • Content creation and social media management are central to this position. You will develop and execute a strategic content calendar across various social media platforms. This content will aim to highlight nonprofit marketing best practices, showcase inspiring client success stories, and share thought leadership from within Getting Attention. A key task will be to effectively repurpose existing content, such as webinars, blog posts, and client case studies, into engaging, easily shareable social media assets that resonate with our target audience.
- • Data-driven decision-making is crucial. You will be responsible for tracking and analyzing key engagement metrics, including social media reach, community growth rates, event attendance figures, and feedback from virtual sessions. Regular reports will be generated, providing leadership with actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on this data, enabling us to refine our engagement strategies and maximize impact.
- • Cross-team collaboration is essential for success. You will work closely with the broader marketing team to amplify campaign efforts through community-driven initiatives. Your role will involve designing and implementing engagement activities that not only foster a sense of community but also significantly strengthen client relationships and loyalty.
