- • The Expert Configuration Engineer role is critical to ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient software delivery across large-scale healthcare products at Harris Computer Systems Corporation. This role directly impacts product quality, release velocity, and compliance by modernizing build and release processes in a regulated industry.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise source control systems, designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, integrating DevSecOps tools like Checkmarx and Dependabot, developing MSI/MSP/MSIX packages with InstallShield, automating infrastructure with Terraform and PowerShell, and troubleshooting complex deployment and packaging issues across cloud and on-prem environments.
- • The engineer will collaborate closely with Development, QA, Security, Hosting, and Release teams to drive automation improvements, support migration initiatives (e.g., TFVC to Git), and enforce governance around branching strategies, pull request policies, and release management.
- • This role offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in enterprise DevSecOps, cloud automation, and release engineering while contributing to the modernization of mission-critical healthcare software platforms. The engineer will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge toolchains and play a key role in shaping scalable, secure delivery practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong experience with Azure DevOps (Server & Services), GitHub Enterprise & GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipeline implementation
- • Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting, Terraform, Azure Cloud services, and Azure Key Vault
- • Expertise in InstallShield MSI/MSP/MSIX packaging and deployment automation
- • Experience integrating security tools such as Checkmarx, Mend (WhiteSource), GitHub Advanced Security, and Dependabot
- • 8+ years of experience in Configuration Management / DevOps / Build & Release Engineering
- • Good understanding of branching strategies, release management, repository governance, and DevSecOps practices
