đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Federal OmniStudio Developer at Gem.com, Inc., you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated digital experiences specifically tailored for the unique demands of Federal government environments. This pivotal role leverages the power of the Salesforce OmniStudio platform, encompassing FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures, to create solutions that are not only scalable and secure but also intuitively user-friendly and compliant with stringent federal mandates.
  • • Your primary focus will be on implementing guided user journeys and dynamic front-end applications that directly align with and support critical mission requirements. You will play an instrumental role in delivering guided, efficient, and compliant Federal services, ensuring that citizens and government employees alike have seamless and effective interactions with digital platforms.
  • • You will be responsible for the end-to-end development and configuration of dynamic, guided user experiences and intricate business processes. This involves utilizing the full spectrum of the OmniStudio suite (formerly Vlocity) and integrating it with broader Salesforce ecosystem products, with a particular emphasis on Salesforce Government Cloud, ensuring all solutions meet the highest standards of security and compliance.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be designing and implementing secure data manipulation layers. This includes expertly using DataRaptors (Extract, Load, Turbo) to efficiently manage data flow and transformations, and Integration Procedures to orchestrate complex business logic and ensure seamless, secure data exchange between Salesforce and mandated external Federal systems.
  • • You will operate within an Agile Scrum or SAFe environment, translating complex business requirements and process maps into robust, technically sound designs. This requires a deep understanding of OmniStudio components and their application in solving challenging government-specific problems.
  • • Collaboration is essential. You will work closely with Solution Architects and backend developers to guarantee the seamless and secure integration of OmniStudio solutions with various Federal systems and APIs. This will involve working with protocols such as REST, SOAP, OAuth, SAML, and PKI, ensuring robust and secure data exchange.
  • • You will be tasked with performing comprehensive unit testing, meticulous troubleshooting, and effective debugging of all OmniStudio components. The goal is to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and adherence to all functional and non-functional requirements.
  • • Implementing and maintaining automated testing strategies is crucial for ensuring the quality and stability of OmniStudio components. This includes leveraging OmniStudio Test Utilities, alongside other platform elements like Apex unit tests and Jest for LWCs, to build a resilient and maintainable codebase.
  • • A significant part of your contribution will involve implementing data mappings and transformations that strictly adhere to common Federal data and integration standards. This includes working with established frameworks and formats such as NIEM, HL7, XML, JSON schemas, and X12, ensuring interoperability and compliance.
  • • You will actively contribute to maintaining high standards of code quality, comprehensive documentation, and robust secure DevSecOps practices within the Federal delivery model. This involves a focus on secure deployment pipelines and strict adherence to all Federal security mandates and regulations.
  • • Ensuring that all developed OmniStudio solutions meet accessibility standards is paramount. You will implement and maintain compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 accessibility standards, optimizing OmniScripts and FlexCards for performance and scalability, even in high-volume Federal use cases.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on how Federal agencies deliver services, improve efficiency, and enhance the user experience for government employees and citizens alike. You will be a key player in driving digital transformation within the public sector, utilizing cutting-edge Salesforce technology.
