Istari Digital is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Federal Pre-Sales Solution Architect to join our rapidly expanding team. This pivotal role is instrumental in enabling federal customers to understand, adopt, and operationalize Istari's cutting-edge infrastructure, thereby addressing their most critical mission challenges.
• As the technical authority, you will be responsible for demonstrating how Istari's platform facilitates modern digital engineering workflows across both federal and commercial missions. You will collaborate closely with engineering leaders, program teams, and account executives, delving deep into the intricacies of how engineering data is created, shared, governed, and operationalized across diverse tools, organizations, and security boundaries. Your expertise will be crucial in architecting Istari as the connective infrastructure that makes these complex workflows seamless and effective.
• This role demands a proactive approach to leading engineering-centric discovery sessions. You will design workflow-driven solution architectures tailored to the unique needs of federal clients, and deliver compelling technical narratives that resonate with a broad audience, including engineers, program managers, and digital engineering leadership. Your primary focus will be on enabling new, transformative ways of working, emphasizing faster collaboration, the creation of reusable data assets, enhanced cross-program visibility, and ultimately, measurable mission impact.
• While you will provide expert guidance on secure deployment patterns and best practices within sensitive federal environments, your core mission is to champion Istari's ability to revolutionize engineering processes. You will articulate how our platform moves beyond being just another tool, positioning it as foundational digital engineering infrastructure that unlocks significant ROI from digital transformation initiatives at scale.
• You will work hand-in-hand with Account Executives, who own the overall account strategy, opportunity qualification, and deal execution. Together, you will form Istari's growth engine, meticulously aligning mission needs, engineering realities, and platform capabilities to develop winning capture strategies. Your technical credibility and deep understanding of engineering workflows will ensure the viability and alignment of our solutions, making Istari an indispensable partner for federal agencies.
• This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation in the industrial metaverse, enabling the next generation of AI-native engineering. You will play a key role in helping organizations like those in aerospace, defense, and other critical industrial sectors modernize their mission-critical workflows. By orchestrating data across complex toolchains, organizations, and classification levels, you will help remove long-standing barriers that have historically limited digital engineering advancements.
• Your responsibilities will include conducting technical deep dives, performing product demonstrations, developing proof-of-concepts, and creating compelling technical documentation, including white papers and presentations. You will act as a trusted advisor to federal clients, understanding their pain points and translating them into actionable solution designs leveraging the Istari platform.
• We are looking for someone who can not only understand complex technical requirements but also communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will be instrumental in building strong relationships with key decision-makers within federal agencies, fostering trust and demonstrating the value proposition of Istari's solutions.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of federal procurement processes, security requirements (e.g., RMF, CMMC), and the unique challenges faced by government entities in adopting new technologies. You will be adept at navigating complex organizational structures and influencing stakeholders at various levels.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Pre-Sales Engineer, or similar technical role, with a strong focus on the federal government sector (e.g., DoD, Intelligence Community).
• Deep understanding of digital engineering principles, PLM, MBSE, simulation, data management, and AI/ML in engineering contexts.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and secure deployment patterns within federal environments (e.g., GovCloud, IL5, IL6).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
