📋 Description

• • The Fiber Engineer Specialist designs physical fiber paths across Zayo’s network to support fiber-based services, ensuring accurate inventory and database management of fiber assets.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing routes for point-to-point, ring, and path-diverse fiber services; researching databases and records for network design and fiber optimization; creating design schematics for fiber path and splicing work; maintaining accurate fiber optic and circuit inventory databases; and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
