📋 Description
- • As a Field Account Manager (FAM) for the K-12 sector at CDW, you will be at the forefront of driving strategic sales growth and expanding our market presence within your assigned territory. This role is pivotal in accelerating sales velocity and uncovering new opportunities by fostering deep, in-person relationships with educational institutions.
- • You will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to K-12 customers, understanding their unique challenges and technology needs. Your primary focus will be on deepening CDW's engagement and strengthening our footprint through consistent, high-impact face-to-face interactions.
- • A key responsibility is to collaborate closely with internal Account Managers (AMs) and a diverse range of internal teams. This partnership is essential for developing strategies for large and complex opportunities, ensuring seamless execution, and maximizing customer value across CDW's comprehensive portfolio of technology solutions.
- • You will be instrumental in supporting account expansion initiatives. This includes planning and executing customer events, conducting on-site consultations, and delivering tailored presentations that showcase CDW's capabilities and solutions relevant to the K-12 educational landscape.
- • Activating and engaging strategic partners will be crucial to unlocking incremental growth within your territory. You will build and nurture relationships with technology vendors and other ecosystem players to create synergistic opportunities and deliver enhanced value to our K-12 clients.
- • Your role will involve providing valuable input and insights to shape operational strategies and refine territory planning. This data-driven approach will help optimize our sales efforts and ensure alignment with market demands.
- • You will own the pipeline input related to your customer meetings and contribute significantly to accurate forecasting for in-person-led opportunities, ensuring visibility and predictability in sales performance.
- • A core aspect of this position is to champion and sell the full spectrum of CDW's solutions, from hardware and software to advanced services and support, ensuring K-12 customers benefit from our end-to-end offerings.
- • You will partner with presales leadership and sales leadership to align resourcing, engagement strategies, and support models, ensuring that the right expertise is available to meet customer needs.
- • Working in tandem with assigned Solution Executives, you will drive deep category penetration within K-12 accounts and at the opportunity level, leveraging specialized expertise to address specific technological requirements.
- • Proactively hunting for new business opportunities in close partnership with Account Managers is a fundamental part of this role. You will identify potential clients and unmet needs, initiating conversations and building the foundation for future sales.
- • This role demands a proactive and results-oriented approach, with a strong emphasis on building rapport, understanding customer pain points, and articulating compelling value propositions through effective in-person and verbal communication.
- • You will leverage your strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively prioritize and manage multiple accounts, opportunities, and territory initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced sales environment.
- • Proficiency with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, and other sales productivity tools is essential for managing your pipeline, tracking customer interactions, and reporting on progress.
- • A willingness and ability to travel extensively within your assigned territory is a requirement, ensuring consistent and meaningful engagement with K-12 customers and partners.
- • You will be comfortable operating in a dynamic, field-based sales environment, adapting to changing priorities and customer needs while maintaining a high level of performance.
