- • The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of Ultrasound systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include installing and configuring medical equipment, conducting testing and calibration, training healthcare staff on operation and basic troubleshooting, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, capturing accurate work documentation, applying EHS standards, leveraging customer knowledge for revenue growth, escalating complex issues, leading customer communications, and performing remote diagnostics and equipment fixes.
- • The role is part of GE HealthCare Technologies Inc., a global leader in medical technology and digital solutions, committed to improving patient outcomes through innovation and service excellence.
- • The engineer will develop expertise in ultrasound systems, gain experience in healthcare technology service delivery, strengthen technical and communication skills, and grow into a trusted advisor for clinical customers while contributing to safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proficient in one medical imaging modality with developing knowledge in another
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- • Skilled in using Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools to analyze service data and present findings
- • Knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement principles
- • Ability to assist with network setup and troubleshooting for connected medical devices, including IP configuration
