- • As a Surgical Field Service Engineer at Alcon, you will ensure that Alcon’s surgical equipment functions effectively at customer sites, supporting the company’s mission to enhance sight and improve global eye health through innovative medical technology.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Alcon surgical equipment; performing preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades; developing customer relationships to secure service contracts; documenting service logs; preparing failure analysis reports; escalating technical issues; managing your schedule; and adhering to GxP regulations and SOPs for compliance and quality control.
- • You will be part of Alcon’s Engineering function, a team dedicated to improving quality, processes, products, packaging, and materials across the business to deliver brilliant outcomes, operating within an inclusive culture that values career growth and employee contributions.
- • In this role, you will develop advanced technical expertise in medical device service, strengthen analytical and communication skills in high-pressure environments, gain experience with regulatory compliance (GxP), and grow your career through Alcon’s focused development opportunities while making a tangible impact on patient outcomes.
