• • TechTorch Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Operations Lead to establish and manage the financial backbone of our rapidly expanding AI-powered enterprise technology services company. This is a critical, hands-on role where you will assume complete ownership of all financial operations, from initial execution to strategic oversight, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial systems.
• • You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of core financial processes, including meticulous bookkeeping, comprehensive accounts receivable management, timely contractor and vendor payments, efficient month-end closing procedures, and robust cash flow forecasting. Your primary objective will be to instill accuracy, implement tight controls, and establish reliable systems that support our growing US-led business and its expanding global footprint, particularly as we serve private equity portfolio companies.
• • This role begins with a strong emphasis on execution. You will inherit existing systems and processes, which may be imperfect, and are expected to not only manage them effectively but also to systematically improve them. The goal is to move beyond recurring issues and establish a foundation of operational excellence that allows the company to scale smoothly and confidently.

• • Key Responsibilities:
• • Financial Operations & Bookkeeping:
• • Take ownership of daily bookkeeping activities and maintain the integrity of financial records across all global entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines.
• • Manage and reconcile all accounts, including bank accounts, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), payroll, and contractor payments, ensuring proper accruals and deferrals are applied.
• • Guarantee that accounting records are consistently clean, reliable, and transparent, providing clear visibility to leadership.
• • Oversee and manage relationships with external accounting and payroll partners across multiple geographies, ensuring high-quality service delivery, clear delineation of responsibilities, and the development of scalable processes as our international presence expands.
• • Conduct research into international financial policies and regulations, providing recommendations for navigating compliance as the business grows globally.
• • Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable:
• • Manage the entire client invoicing lifecycle, from generation to timely collection and effective dispute resolution.
• • Oversee all aspects of payroll, contractor, and vendor payment workflows.
• • Ensure optimal utilization of time tracking systems to support accurate, low-friction invoicing and prevent over- or under-payments to contractors and vendors.
• • Proactively identify and implement automation opportunities and process improvements to minimize manual effort and free up capacity for more strategic, value-added tasks.
• • Month-End Close & Reporting:
• • Lead the month-end close process with the objective of delivering comprehensive profitability and performance reports within 48 hours of the period's end.
• • Develop and maintain operational financial reports, primarily using Excel and connected tools, to provide clear and concise visibility into business performance.
• • Ensure consistency and accuracy across all entities, including complex international structures, to provide leadership with a consolidated and reliable view of the company's financial health.
• • Cash Flow & Financial Planning:
• • Build and maintain a dependable, continuously updated cash flow forecast to enable proactive liquidity management and strategic financial planning.
• • Monitor the company's cash position closely and support funding-related trade-off decisions with robust data and analysis.
• • Assist in the maintenance of annual financial plans and budgets in close collaboration with leadership, translating strategic objectives into measurable financial targets.
• • Strategic Decision Support & Continuous Improvement:
• • Conduct ad hoc and recurring financial analyses to support leadership in making informed decisions regarding profitability, cost drivers, resource allocation, and growth investments.
• • Over time, contribute to shaping the analytical framework and reporting mechanisms to surface key insights and recommendations that drive superior business outcomes.
• • Proactively identify and implement automation solutions using AI and modern financial tools to eliminate repetitive tasks, mitigate error risks, and enhance the speed and quality of financial operations.
