- • Own the complete product lifecycle for TextUs’ core business-texting platform, from strategic vision through go-to-market execution. You will translate customer pain points and market signals into a clear, prioritized roadmap that keeps us ahead of competitors and aligned with our mission to create the highest-performance texting channel.
- • Deeply understand our users—recruiters, sales teams, customer-success reps, and operations leaders—by running 15+ customer interviews per quarter, analyzing usage data, and shadowing power users. Your insights will directly shape feature design and positioning, ensuring every release solves a measurable problem and drives adoption.
- • Define and track KPIs such as message throughput, deliverability rates, reply-to-send ratios, and customer NPS. You will present these metrics weekly to the executive team, tying product decisions to revenue impact and customer retention.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success in a fully-remote environment. You will run agile ceremonies, write detailed PRDs, and maintain a living roadmap in Productboard that keeps all stakeholders aligned and excited.
- • Prioritize ruthlessly: balance quick-win enhancements (e.g., template variables, link shortening) with larger bets (e.g., AI-powered smart replies, omnichannel orchestration). You will use RICE scoring and opportunity-solution trees to defend trade-offs and maintain velocity.
- • Drive go-to-market strategy for every release—craft positioning, train sales enablement, and partner with demand-gen to launch campaigns that generate pipeline. You will own the launch calendar and ensure each feature lands with clear documentation, demo videos, and customer comms.
- • Champion the voice of the customer inside the company. You will run quarterly “Customer Advisory Boards,” synthesize feedback into actionable themes, and maintain a public-facing roadmap that builds trust and transparency.
- • Monitor competitive and regulatory landscapes (TCPA, 10DLC, GDPR) to anticipate risks and opportunities. You will brief legal and compliance teams on upcoming changes and translate complex requirements into simple, user-friendly product flows.
- • Mentor junior PMs and aspiring product owners within the organization. You will run monthly lunch-and-learns on discovery techniques, storytelling, and data-driven decision-making, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- • Experiment boldly: own an experimentation budget and run A/B tests on copy, timing, and channel mix to optimize engagement. You will publish post-mortems that celebrate both wins and learnings, reinforcing a growth mindset across the company.
- • Scale the product for enterprise needs—single sign-on, granular permissions, audit logs, and high-volume throughput—while preserving the intuitive UX that makes TextUs beloved by SMBs. You will work closely with solutions engineers to close six-figure deals and ensure smooth onboarding.
- • Represent TextUs at industry conferences, webinars, and on social media. You will become a thought leader on business texting, sharing best practices that elevate the entire category and generate inbound demand.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of SaaS product-management experience with at least one full-lifecycle launch from 0 → 1 → scale
- • Proven ability to translate qualitative user research and quantitative data into prioritized roadmaps that deliver measurable business outcomes
- • Demonstrated success collaborating with remote engineering teams using agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and modern tools (Jira, Figma, Productboard)
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—comfortable presenting to C-suite, writing detailed PRDs, and creating compelling launch narratives
- • Nice-to-have: experience with messaging, communications, or CPaaS products; familiarity with telecom regulations (TCPA, 10DLC, A2P); SQL fluency for self-serve analytics
