Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Design, architect, and ship full-stack features that directly solve enterprise compliance challenges by automating manual document reviews and regulatory risk identification
- • Own the technical relationship with key customers, implementing custom solutions, gathering requirements firsthand, and translating real-time feedback into product improvements
- • Build scalable backend services and APIs that power the company’s LLM-based compliance platform while ensuring a seamless and reliable customer experience
- • Make high-impact technical decisions autonomously, balancing engineering standards with the urgency of customer needs in a fast-moving startup environment
- • Collaborate directly with the founding team to shape both the product roadmap and engineering practices as the company scales from Series A to market leadership
- • Ship code that runs immediately within the workflows of major global enterprises, directly reducing legal compliance risk and unlocking productivity gains of up to 4x
- • Work end-to-end on features—from system design and implementation to deployment and iteration—based on direct customer interaction and usage patterns
- • Challenge assumptions about product direction and technical implementation, contributing meaningfully to decisions on what to build and how to build it
- • Maintain deep technical fluency across the stack, including backend services (Go, Node.js/TypeScript, or Python) and frontend interfaces used by enterprise users daily
- • Operate as the primary technical bridge between Haast’s product vision and the daily realities of legal and compliance teams, ensuring solutions are practical, effective, and adopted
- • Iterate rapidly on product functionality using direct customer feedback, ensuring features evolve in alignment with real-world compliance workflows
- • Contribute to building infrastructure that redefines how enterprises approach compliance, aiming to make Haast the standard like Canva for design or Atlassian for projects
- • Participate in a fully remote, engineering-driven culture with minimal bureaucracy, where technical autonomy and customer-centric innovation are core values
- • Engage in continuous learning around scaling distributed systems, LLM applications, and product development within a rapidly growing startup environment
- • Influence the company’s long-term technical and product trajectory by bringing frontline customer insights into architectural and feature prioritization decisions
- • Deliver solutions that handle mission-critical enterprise compliance workflows, where errors have real legal and financial consequences, demanding high reliability and precision
- • Work on systems that are already being used by Fortune-scale organizations to cut compliance review times by 80% and automate previously manual, error-prone processes
- • Take ownership of production systems, including monitoring, incident response, and performance optimization, ensuring uptime and reliability for enterprise customers
- • Balance speed of delivery with system reliability, understanding the tradeoffs between rapid iteration and robustness in production environments
- • Actively contribute to shaping engineering culture and best practices as the first US-based engineer, setting precedents for remote collaboration and customer engagement
- • Work alongside world-class investors including Peak XV Partners, DST Global, and Airtree, contributing to a company building infrastructure for a $50B global market
🎯 Requirements
- • Built full-stack systems at meaningful scale, equally comfortable with backend services and customer-facing frontend code
- • Deep expertise in one or more of: Go, Node.js/TypeScript, or Python, with fluency across the full stack to own features end-to-end
- • Experience with APIs, distributed systems, and production tradeoffs between speed and reliability
- • Genuine enjoyment of working directly with customers to understand pain points and translate feedback into product improvements
- • Proven track record of shipping in fast-moving environments while maintaining system stability and quality
- • Curiosity about LLMs and excitement for building practical, real-world applications on top of them, not just theoretical interest
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary range of $180k–$220k USD plus equity
- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
- • 401k plan
- • Generous PTO
- • Fully remote work across the United States or Canada
- • Direct influence on product roadmap and engineering practices through customer-facing roles

About Haast Technologies Inc.
Haast Technologies provides an API platform that turns any website into a secure, authenticated API in minutes. Instead of building complex scrapers or reverse-engineering JavaScript, developers send a request to Haast with a URL and optional authentication, and receive structured JSON data such as product listings, prices, and metadata. The service handles anti-bot protections, rate limits, and session management automatically. It targets e-commerce aggregators, market intelligence teams, and SaaS companies that need reliable, real-time access to public web data without maintaining fragile crawlers or proxy pools.
