📋 Description
- • As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Spellbook Legal Inc., you will work directly with large law firms and in-house legal teams to deploy and customize AI-powered contract workflows within enterprise environments, ensuring seamless integration with document management systems, identity systems, and internal tools.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include owning end-to-end enterprise deployments, building AI-native workflows (approvals, routing, permissions, auditability), tailoring the product for customer needs, driving user adoption through rapid iteration, and feeding insights back into the platform to shape future capabilities.
- • You will join a fast-growing, well-funded AI legal tech company backed by Khosla Ventures, Thomson Reuters Ventures, and others, with over $80M in total funding and serving more than 4,000 law firms and legal teams globally.
- • In this role, you will gain deep experience in enterprise SaaS deployments, AI integration (LLMs, RAG), cloud infrastructure (AWS, CDK), and customer-facing engineering — positioning you at the forefront of AI-powered legal technology innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–7 years of experience building and shipping production software systems
- • Strong backend or full-stack engineering experience
- • Experience building APIs and integrating with external systems
- • Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- • Exposure to LLM systems (e.g. RAG, prompting, evaluations)
- • Comfortable working directly with enterprise customers
