• • As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our customer engagement, acting as a critical bridge between our innovative technology and the healthcare providers who rely on it. • • You will be instrumental in ensuring our customers achieve maximum value from the Metriport platform. This involves a hands-on approach, from initial onboarding and technical integration to ongoing support and strategic guidance. Your ability to understand complex customer needs and translate them into effective technical solutions will be paramount.
• • A core responsibility will be to serve as the primary point of contact for customers, fostering strong, collaborative partnerships. This requires excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
• • You will lead discovery calls during customer onboarding, meticulously understanding their unique use cases, technical requirements, and defining clear success criteria. This deep dive ensures that Metriport is configured and utilized to meet their specific operational and strategic goals.
• • Participate in crucial weekly syncs with onboarding customers, proactively ensuring they are deriving tangible value from the product and have successfully integrated Metriport into their daily workflows. Your guidance will be key to their adoption and long-term success.
• • Beyond onboarding, you will maintain and nurture customer relationships through regular check-ins and providing continuous, responsive support via various communication channels. This proactive engagement helps to identify potential issues before they escalate and ensures ongoing customer satisfaction.
• • You will leverage your technical expertise to answer in-depth questions about Metriport's product capabilities, integration possibilities, and implementation best practices. Your knowledge will empower customers to utilize the platform to its fullest potential.
• • A significant part of the role involves troubleshooting and debugging customer issues. This may require deep dives into the platform's architecture and, in some cases, close collaboration with our core engineering team to devise and implement effective solutions.
• • You will effectively manage a pipeline of customer requests and issues. This includes assessing their priority, coordinating resolution efforts with relevant engineering teams, diligently tracking progress, and clearly communicating outcomes and resolutions back to the customers.
• • Contribute to the team's collective knowledge and strategic direction by participating in weekly syncs. Here, you will provide updates on customer status, highlight any critical issues requiring attention, and share valuable customer feedback that informs our product roadmap.
• • Proactively communicate relevant product updates and new feature releases to customers, ensuring they are aware of enhancements that align with their evolving needs and use cases. This keeps them engaged and informed about the platform's continuous improvement.
• • Engage in bi-weekly sprint planning and retrospective sessions, as well as quarterly planning meetings. This involvement ensures alignment with the engineering team's development cycles and contributes to the overall strategic direction of the product.
• • You will be responsible for managing APIs and integrations, ensuring seamless functionality and robust performance for our customers. This technical oversight is critical for maintaining the integrity and usability of the platform.
• • Guide customers through the entire lifecycle, from initial onboarding and integration to successful production roll-out, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.
• • Attend a daily 30-minute remote stand-up meeting (Monday-Friday at 7:30 am PST), which serves as our primary, regular touchpoint for team alignment.
