📋 Description

• Design, architect, and ship full-stack features that directly solve enterprise compliance challenges by automating manual document reviews and regulatory risk detection
• Own the technical relationship with key customers: implement custom solutions, gather requirements firsthand, and translate real-time feedback into product improvements
• Build scalable backend services and APIs that power the company’s LLM-driven compliance platform while maintaining a customer-centric user experience
• Make high-impact technical decisions quickly, balancing engineering standards with customer needs and production reliability
• Challenge product assumptions and influence the roadmap by directly engaging with legal and compliance teams at global enterprises
• Ship code that runs inside the workflows of major global organizations, delivering 80% faster compliance reviews and 4x productivity gains
• Collaborate directly with the founding team to shape engineering practices and system architecture as the company scales from Series A to market leadership
• Work in a high-autonomy environment where you are accountable for end-to-end ownership—from initial design to production deployment and iterative improvement
• Spend time embedded with customers to observe pain points, validate assumptions, and co-create solutions that address mission-critical compliance workflows
• Contribute to the evolution of a product designed to be the Canva for design or Atlassian for projects—except for enterprise compliance
• Participate in rapid iteration cycles fueled by direct user feedback, ensuring features are not just technically sound but genuinely adopted and valued
• Work remotely across the US or Canada with flexibility to operate in a fully remote, engineering-driven culture with minimal bureaucracy
• Contribute to a platform that reduces legal risk and unlocks productivity for Fortune 500 companies using cutting-edge AI agents
• Translate complex compliance regulations into technical specifications and scalable software logic that automates manual human processes
• Stay deeply engaged with the practical applications of LLMs—not theoretical research, but production-grade systems that handle real-world enterprise documents
• Continuously improve system reliability and speed while ensuring customer-facing features remain robust, intuitive, and responsive
• Act as the primary technical bridge between the Sydney-based engineering team and US-based enterprise customers
• Shape how the company scales its infrastructure by contributing to architectural decisions that support growth from early-stage startup to market-defining platform

🎯 Requirements

• Built full-stack systems at meaningful scale, comfortable architecting backend services and shipping frontend code customers use daily
• Deep expertise in one or more of: Go, Node.js/TypeScript, or Python, with fluency across the stack to own features end-to-end
• Proven experience working with customers to gather requirements, translate feedback into product improvements, and ship solutions they actively use
• Understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and tradeoffs between speed and reliability in production environments
• Genuine curiosity about LLMs and experience building practical, production applications on top of them
• Shipped code in fast-moving startup or high-growth environments while maintaining stability and quality
