- • As a Forward Deployed Engineer at HappyRobot, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers seamlessly integrate and maximize the value derived from our cutting-edge AI platform. This role is a dynamic blend of customer-facing engineering and hands-on technical development, requiring a versatile individual who thrives in a collaborative, builder-centric environment. You will guide customers through the entire lifecycle, from initial onboarding to ongoing utilization, acting as a crucial link between their operational needs and our technological solutions.
- • Your responsibilities will span a wide technical spectrum. You will be expected to be comfortable with full-stack development, leveraging technologies such as React and TypeScript, and possess strong proficiency in Python for backend development and AI/ML applications. A key aspect of this role involves building and managing APIs and other integration tools to ensure robust connectivity with diverse third-party systems. Furthermore, you will engage with advanced AI concepts, including LLM prompting and the fine-tuning of voices and transcribers, to perfect specific use cases.
- • A significant part of your contribution will involve iterative development. You will constantly refine and enhance existing solutions based on customer feedback and evolving requirements, striving for perfection in every use case. This iterative process may also extend to building entirely new features or even Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) from the ground up, demonstrating your ability to translate conceptual ideas into tangible, functional software.
- • You will act as a trusted technical advisor to our clients, understanding their unique operational challenges and translating them into actionable solutions leveraging the HappyRobot AI OS. This requires not only deep technical expertise but also exceptional communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to a diverse range of stakeholders, including technical teams and business leaders.

You will be empowered with significant autonomy, taking full ownership of your projects from inception to deployment.
