đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Forward Deployed Security Architect (FDSA) at Binalyze, you will be instrumental in transforming how security teams approach incident investigation and resilience building. You will serve as a critical bridge between Binalyze's cutting-edge platform and our customers' unique security challenges, ensuring that our solutions deliver tangible, measurable security outcomes. This role is designed for a seasoned security leader who possesses a potent blend of strategic foresight, executive-level gravitas, and the judicious ability to engage in hands-on technical execution when necessary. Your primary objective will be to guide our customers toward achieving higher levels of security maturity, moving beyond mere tool adoption to foster genuine operational excellence.
  • • You will operate as a trusted security advisor and program architect, engaging directly with Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), senior security leaders, and operational teams within customer organizations. Your work will involve deeply understanding their security strategies, business contexts, and risk appetites, and then meticulously aligning Binalyze's capabilities to address these specific needs. This position demands a dynamic individual who can navigate the complex interplay of strategy, operations, and technology, knowing precisely when to lead discussions at the executive level and when to roll up their sleeves and work alongside customer teams to overcome obstacles and drive progress.
  • • A core aspect of your role will be strategic security leadership. You will partner with CISOs and other senior stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of their security objectives, overarching business goals, and their defined risk appetite. Your expertise will be crucial in translating these high-level security objectives and policies into actionable, executable programs that yield measurable results. You will be responsible for fostering alignment across diverse teams, including security operations, IT, engineering, and broader business units, ensuring a unified approach to security. A key deliverable will be guiding customers towards significant improvements in their detection, response, and forensic readiness capabilities, ensuring that the focus remains on achieving these outcomes rather than simply implementing new tools.
  • • Operational program ownership is another vital component of this role. You will define clear success metrics for detection, response, readiness, and investigation workflows, establishing a framework for tracking progress and ensuring accountability. You will set the operational cadence for customer engagements, diligently monitor progress against defined goals, and ensure consistent follow-through on all initiated projects. Conducting thorough maturity assessments will be part of your remit, identifying key areas for continuous improvement and developing strategic roadmaps to address them. You will serve as a stable, reliable, and trusted presence, particularly during complex, high-stakes initiatives where decisive leadership and clear direction are paramount.
  • • Your responsibilities will extend to technical and workflow architecture. You will design and optimize intricate workflows that span strategic elements (governance, measurement, continuous improvement), people-centric aspects (incident escalation, coordination, communication protocols), and product-related functions (detection logic, response playbooks, data enrichment pipelines). It is imperative that these workflows not only align with the customer's strategic objectives but also effectively leverage the unique strengths of the Binalyze platform. Maintaining deep technical fluency across the entire spectrum of security operations and forensic workflows is essential, enabling you to architect robust and effective solutions.
  • • While strategic in nature, the role also involves selective hands-on execution. You will be expected to define or prototype targeted integrations, develop custom automations, or build specific SOAR playbooks when these actions are necessary to unlock critical outcomes for the customer. You will also validate technical workflows and provide support for Proof of Concepts (POCs) related to new Binalyze capabilities, ensuring that technical solutions are practical and effective. Staying closely connected to the tooling and the data it generates is crucial for maintaining strong technical credibility and providing insightful guidance.
  • • A significant focus will be placed on AI and automation-first execution. You will apply AI and no-code/low-code automation tools (such as Zapier, Make, Notion AI, ChatGPT, Airtable) to streamline and enhance existing workflows, both for customers and internal teams. Your goal will be to help organizations adopt more automated, intelligence-driven approaches to their security operations. You will continuously explore and champion the application of emerging AI capabilities to accelerate security outcomes, positioning Binalyze and its customers at the forefront of security innovation.
  • • This is a senior, high-impact role, perfectly suited for an individual who thrives on shaping security programs, influencing key decision-makers, and transforming complex, often chaotic, environments into well-managed, measurable, and highly effective security systems. You will be a key driver of customer success and a vital contributor to Binalyze's growth and reputation.

🎯 Requirements

  • • A strong background in cybersecurity, with significant experience in areas such as Incident Response (IR), Security Operations Center (SOC) operations, Detection Engineering, Security Engineering, or Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR).
  • • Proven experience in leadership roles, demonstrating the ability to manage teams, projects, or security programs effectively.
  • • Demonstrated ability to lead and shape security programs, focusing on strategic outcomes and continuous improvement, rather than solely on tool implementation.
  • • Comfort and proven success in influencing executive stakeholders (e.g., CISOs, VPs of Security) while simultaneously possessing the ability to coach and guide operational teams.
  • • Strong technical fluency across security operations and forensic workflows, coupled with the strategic judgment to apply this expertise selectively and effectively to solve complex problems.
  • • Experience navigating and succeeding in complex stakeholder environments, managing ambiguity, and driving clarity in problem spaces.
  • • A genuine interest in and a proactive approach to exploring and applying AI-driven and automated solutions within security operations.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Generous annual leave allowance of 28 days, plus additional wellbeing days and your birthday off, promoting work-life balance and personal time.
  • • Comprehensive private medical insurance, including coverage for family members, ensuring peace of mind for you and your loved ones.
  • • Support for setting up an effective home office, providing the necessary resources to create a productive and comfortable remote working environment.
  • • Monthly allowances for wellbeing and entertainment, encouraging a healthy lifestyle and personal enjoyment.
  • • 401K retirement savings plan, supporting your long-term financial security.
