- • Serve as a Forward Deployed Engineer onsite with mission-critical government and defense customers, configuring, optimizing, and supporting ConductorAI software in real-world environments
- • Write and maintain production-quality code in Python and TypeScript as part of a small, high-impact engineering team
- • Translate direct customer feedback and workflow insights into actionable product requirements and feature enhancements
- • Debug and improve system reliability, performance, and usability based on observed real-world usage patterns at customer sites
- • Conduct technical demonstrations and training sessions for customers with varying levels of technical fluency, including non-engineering stakeholders
- • Build and customize AI-powered workflows tailored to specific customer use cases, leveraging LLMs and modern AI application techniques
- • Collaborate directly with product and engineering teams to bridge customer needs with product development, ensuring rapid iteration from feedback to deployment
- • Automate manual processes at customer locations to increase operational efficiency and reduce human error in mission-critical systems
- • Operate with high autonomy in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, owning the full lifecycle from problem identification to solution deployment and impact measurement
- • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior government and defense personnel
- • Travel up to 50% domestically and OCONUS to support customer deployments, troubleshooting, and onboarding activities
- • Contribute to company culture, processes, and strategic direction as an early team member shaping the evolution of ConductorAI’s product and operations
- • Measure success by tangible impact on customer workflows and mission outcomes, not by activity or hours worked
- • Work in a highly collaborative, tight-knit team environment where individual initiative directly influences product trajectory and organizational growth
🎯 Requirements
- • Active DoD Secret clearance or higher required at time of hire
- • US citizenship required due to ITAR/EAR compliance and government contract obligations
- • 2+ years of professional software engineering or forward deployed engineering experience
- • Proficiency in Python and TypeScript
- • Experience working directly with end users or customers in a technical capacity
- • Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and OCONUS
