Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Design and build the core ad delivery engine for AI-powered consumer applications, handling millions of requests per minute with strict latency SLAs
- • Develop the ad decisioning pipeline including candidate retrieval, scoring, filtering, and final ranking to serve contextually relevant ads in real-time AI interactions
- • Create and maintain a lightweight publisher SDK that enables AI app developers to integrate ad capabilities within hours, not days
- • Architect scalable and self-healing infrastructure capable of dynamically provisioning and decommissioning thousands of compute workers based on variable traffic demand
- • Implement delivery infrastructure for pacing, frequency capping, budget management, and campaign throttling to ensure advertiser ROI and publisher revenue optimization
- • Build a comprehensive observability stack with real-time dashboards tracking auction win rates, fill rates, revenue metrics, and latency percentiles across global publisher networks
- • Collaborate directly with the founder—formerly an AI infrastructure researcher at Google—to refine the technical roadmap and drive product-market alignment
- • Optimize system performance under extreme scale, ensuring sub-100ms response times for ad responses within conversational AI interfaces
- • Design fault-tolerant data pipelines that ingest and process high-velocity signals from AI applications to inform real-time bidding and targeting decisions
- • Integrate with advertiser demand sources and publisher supply partners to enable seamless auction dynamics and bid optimization across diverse AI use cases
- • Establish monitoring and alerting systems to detect and resolve service degradation, data anomalies, or revenue leakage within seconds
- • Leverage AI tools to accelerate development cycles, automate repetitive tasks, and improve code quality without compromising system reliability
- • Work in a fast-paced, early-stage environment where engineering decisions directly shape the future of AI advertising
- • Operate with extreme ownership, shipping production-grade systems rapidly while maintaining high standards of technical excellence and ethical engineering

🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience building low-latency network infrastructure serving millions of requests per second
- • Demonstrated track record of designing scalable, self-healing systems with dynamic compute orchestration
- • Hands-on experience with high-frequency trading systems or equivalent real-time decisioning pipelines
- • Deep understanding of distributed systems, caching, and data pipeline optimization
🏖️ Benefits
- • High equity stake in a startup backed by Pear VC and Audacious Ventures
- • Competitive cash compensation ranging from $170K to $220K
