• • As a Founding Staff Software Engineer at NeuroScale Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our AI recruiting operating system, Arbi. This is a pivotal, hands-on role where you will architect, build, and scale the core backend systems that power our innovative talent platform. You will not be maintaining existing code; instead, you will be at the forefront of developing new features and infrastructure, driving the technical direction of a rapidly growing company.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement robust, production-grade backend systems using a modern Python/FastAPI stack. This involves creating scalable APIs, orchestrating complex workflows, managing data pipelines, optimizing search infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud-based deployment on AWS.
• • You will collaborate closely with AI engineers, frontend developers, and product leads, translating product vision into tangible, high-quality software. This cross-functional interaction is key to ensuring our platform meets the needs of talent teams and helps them win more top candidates with significantly less friction.
• • Key technical areas you will own and contribute to include: designing and building REST APIs with Python and FastAPI; implementing and scaling systems using PostgreSQL, Redis, OpenSearch, Celery, and Temporal; architecting solutions for large-scale datasets and high-throughput backend workflows; managing containerized deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and overall backend infrastructure reliability on AWS.
