- • Own full-cycle recruiting across technical, GTM, operations, and leadership roles for a fast-growing stealth robotics company, serving as the first dedicated recruiting hire.
- • Design and implement scalable recruiting processes from the ground up, including candidate sourcing, interview structuring, offer negotiation, and onboarding workflows.
- • Partner directly with founders and senior leaders to define hiring priorities, align on ideal candidate profiles, and calibrate talent decisions across functions.
- • Build strategic sourcing pipelines beyond traditional methods by identifying overlooked talent, cultivating long-term relationships, and creating repeatable, innovative sourcing playbooks.
- • Own and optimize the ATS infrastructure (Ashby), including scorecards, pipeline analytics, and reporting dashboards to drive data-informed hiring decisions.
- • Monitor key hiring health metrics—such as pass-through rates, time-to-hire, and rejection themes—and translate insights into process improvements that accelerate hiring velocity and quality.
- • Shape and elevate the employer brand and candidate experience from initial outreach through offer acceptance and post-offer engagement.
- • Coach current stakeholders on recruitment best practices and, as the company scales, hire, train, and lead a future recruiting team.
- • Leverage modern tools and AI-enabled workflows to increase efficiency and speed in sourcing and screening, while maintaining high judgment and candidate-centric standards.
- • Maintain a high bar for talent acquisition in a high-growth, ambiguous environment where existing playbooks often don’t apply, requiring rapid iteration and creative problem-solving.
- • Communicate crisply and professionally with internal stakeholders and external candidates, demonstrating fluent written and spoken English and a client-facing demeanor.
- • Collaborate effectively within Pacific Time zone, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend conversations to accommodate global stakeholders or urgent hiring needs.
- • Contribute to building a talent function that supports a company deploying advanced robotics technology in live operational environments, with a focus on measurable outcomes and scalable impact.
- • Drive hiring for roles requiring deep technical expertise in robotics, hardware, AI, software engineering, and operational leadership, while maintaining a broad perspective across all functions.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in fast-moving startups or technical environments
- • Proven track record of building or significantly shaping a recruiting function from scratch
- • Expertise in generating early-stage pipelines using creative, non-traditional sourcing strategies
- • Comfort and proficiency with modern recruiting tools and AI-enabled workflows
- • Demonstrated grit, humility, and maturity in delivering candid feedback while protecting the candidate experience
- • Ability to learn quickly and create new playbooks when existing processes are ineffective
