  • • In the role of FP&A Analyst, you will be instrumental in enhancing Rentable's understanding of business performance and identifying strategic focus areas. You will collaborate closely with the CFO and cross-functional teams to transform raw data into clear, actionable insights that inform both daily operational decisions and long-term strategic planning.
  • • A significant component of this role involves leveraging SQL to query, clean, and transform data, enabling you to answer critical business questions and drive the company's progress forward.
  • • This position operates within a dynamic and fast-paced setting, demanding a strategic mindset, exceptional organizational capabilities, diligent follow-up, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • • Your capacity to synthesize current business intelligence and trend data to pinpoint areas for enhancement, support data-backed recommendations, and establish and implement routine reporting mechanisms will be paramount to your success.
  • • Key responsibilities include the development of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range financial plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market dynamics.
  • • You will be tasked with creating and maintaining sophisticated financial models to accurately predict performance and rigorously assess the implications of various business decisions.
  • • A crucial aspect of the role involves analyzing variances between actual financial results and planned budgets or forecasts, providing clear explanations for key drivers and deviations.
  • • The FP&A Analyst will conduct in-depth ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives, respond to executive requests, and provide critical financial intelligence for decision-making.
  • • You will be responsible for translating complex financial and operational data into easily understandable insights and actionable recommendations tailored for non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
  • • Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data across all financial and operational reporting is a core duty, maintaining the integrity of our financial information.
  • • You will partner directly with the CFO and senior leadership team, acting as a key advisor to support data-driven strategic decision-making at the highest levels.
  • • Collaboration with various business units, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, will be essential to provide financial insights that enhance strategic planning and drive operational efficiency.
  • • The role involves building and maintaining dynamic performance dashboards and recurring reports to provide real-time visibility into key business metrics.
  • • You will proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality, enhance data instrumentation, and refine reporting processes to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy.
  • • A key challenge and opportunity will be to transform incomplete or disparate data sets into coherent and valuable insights that inform business strategy.
  • • Support will be provided for the preparation of critical leadership-level reporting, including board presentations and other high-priority ad hoc projects, ensuring clear and concise communication of financial performance and outlook.
