- • Transform vast datasets into automated, actionable business intelligence reports using modern ELT pipelines and data modeling techniques.
- • Collaborate directly with internal engineering teams and client project teams to design and deliver analytics solutions that drive data-informed decision-making.
- • Build and maintain scalable data models using dbt, dimensional modeling, and Data Vault methodologies to ensure data accuracy and usability across business units.
- • Develop and optimize SQL queries for complex data transformations, aggregations, and reporting needs across cloud-based data warehouses.
- • Integrate and visualize data using BI tools including Looker, Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI to create dashboards and reports for non-technical stakeholders.
- • Work extensively with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms to manage data ingestion, storage, and query performance.
- • Maintain version control of all data pipelines and code using Git, ensuring traceability, collaboration, and deployment reliability.
- • Travel up to one week per quarter to client offices to conduct workshops, gather requirements, and deliver solutions in person.
- • Operate autonomously in a distributed, international team environment with minimal supervision and high accountability.
- • Participate in a knowledge-sharing culture that encourages continuous learning, experimentation with new technologies, and peer feedback.
- • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences in English and French.
- • Take ownership of project outcomes, proactively identifying improvements and delivering high-quality work without constant oversight.
- • Contribute to a diverse, inclusive workplace where authenticity is valued and all team members are respected regardless of background.
- • Adhere to legislative compliance requirements, including providing an official clean criminal record extract upon offer acceptance.
- • Utilize company-provided resources including a MacBook and work-from-home budget to support productivity and remote work effectiveness.
- • Engage in agile workflows with iterative delivery cycles, regular feedback loops, and flexible project priorities.
- • Balance multiple client projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by translating business needs into technical analytics solutions and guiding them toward data-first practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • SQL proficiency
- • Experience with dbt, dimensional modeling, and Data Vault
- • Proficiency in Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
- • Experience with BI tools: Looker, Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI
- • Git version control experience
- • Fluency in French (C1) and English (C1)
