- • A freelance CG Artist role focused on creating high-quality product renders and videos for a smart ring, supporting marketing, investor, and product development needs.
- • Day-to-day tasks include producing photorealistic renders, short product videos, turntables, motion graphics, and material studies using CAD/STP files, product references, and CMF direction.
- • The company is a small startup building AI agents and consumer devices, headquartered in Shenzhen and New York, with a founder background in Silicon Valley unicorns.
- • The role offers the opportunity to refine product visualization skills, work on cutting-edge wearable tech, and contribute to strategic decisions through visual storytelling.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong portfolio of product rendering work, ideally in consumer electronics, wearables, jewelry, watches, rings, or small hardware
- • Strong portfolio of product video, animation, motion graphics, or short 3D product ads
- • Excellent sense of lighting, materials, composition, scale, and product detail
- • Experience with Blender, Cinema 4D, KeyShot, Redshift, Octane, V-Ray, After Effects, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar rendering/video tools
- • Comfortable working from imperfect inputs such as CAD files, rough references, factory samples, and written direction
- • Ability to move quickly and produce polished outputs without heavy creative team support
- • Strong file organization and ability to deliver source files and export-ready still/video assets
- • Good written communication and responsiveness
