- • This freelance YouTube editor role is part of a high-impact project for a leading AI tech company, collaborating directly with a top MrBeast director and producer to create content engineered for maximum viewer retention and YouTube performance.
- • The editor will be responsible for crafting videos with a sharp focus on the first 90 seconds, structuring edits around curiosity, payoff, and escalation to ensure viewers stay engaged and cannot click away.
- • Working with Snowball Digital on a contract basis, the editor will join a fast-paced, performance-driven team that treats YouTube content as a strategic growth engine, blending entertainment with technical precision.
- • The editor will have the opportunity to refine their skills in retention-based editing, motion design, and storytelling under expert guidance, with potential for ongoing work based on performance and fit.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience editing YouTube-first content, ideally for multi-million view creator channels
- • Strong grasp of pacing, narrative flow, and viewer psychology — prioritizing engagement over visuals alone
