- • Supervise and lead the daily operations of the front desk team at Placemakr properties, ensuring seamless guest check-ins, check-outs, and service delivery.
- • Train, coach, and mentor Guest Experience Associates to uphold Placemakr’s Community Norms and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for guests and residents, resolving inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
- • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, room assignments, maintenance requests, and operational logs using Placemakr’s proprietary systems.
- • Coordinate with property operations, maintenance, and cleaning teams to ensure timely resolution of issues impacting guest satisfaction.
- • Enforce property policies and procedures related to safety, security, noise, guest conduct, and access control.
- • Monitor front desk inventory, including key cards, welcome packets, amenities, and supplies, and initiate reorders as needed.
- • Conduct daily shift handovers with incoming and outgoing front desk staff to ensure continuity of service and communication.
- • Lead by example in fostering a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture aligned with Placemakr’s Property Team Mission.
- • Adhere to and promote Placemakr’s standards for hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism in all guest-facing interactions.
- • Manage front desk scheduling in alignment with rotational requirements that include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- • Provide feedback and performance input for front desk team members to support development and recognition.
- • Act as a liaison between corporate non-property teams and on-site property staff to relay operational feedback and implement platform-wide improvements.
- • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to hospitality operations and guest data privacy.
- • Participate in biannual in-person team get-togethers as required for on-site leadership roles.
- • Maintain a high level of availability and flexibility to accommodate shifting schedules based on property needs and guest volume.
- • Support the execution of special events, guest programs, and community-building initiatives hosted at the property.
- • Identify opportunities to enhance guest experience through operational improvements and service innovations.
- • Uphold Placemakr’s commitment to creating a home-like environment for guests staying for any duration — from one night to one year.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience supervising front desk or guest services teams in hospitality, property management, or short-term rental environments
- • Proven ability to manage rotating schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills with guests and team members
- • Proficiency in property management or hospitality software systems
- • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher preferred
- • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for property-related duties
