You will sit at the intersection of design and engineering, turning pixel-perfect mock-ups into lightning-fast, accessible, and secure web applications that move trillions of dollars every day.
• • Own the full front-end lifecycle for green-field products that will disrupt core banking and capital-markets workflows. From the first line of TypeScript to the final performance audit, you will craft interfaces that delight traders, risk managers, and regulators alike.
• • Translate Figma prototypes into responsive, cross-browser UIs using modern HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript. You will obsess over every millisecond of load time, every color contrast ratio, and every keyboard shortcut to ensure an inclusive experience for users in 60+ countries.
• • Architect scalable component libraries in Angular or React, enforcing clean separation of concerns, strict typing, and automated testing. Your reusable UI kit will become the foundation for dozens of internal teams and external partners.
• • Collaborate daily with UX researchers, product managers, and quantitative analysts in distributed Scrum teams spanning Pisa, Turin, London, New York, and Singapore. You will demo features every two weeks to stakeholders who have built the world’s most demanding trading systems.
• • Champion agile best practices: write user stories, estimate story points, participate in sprint planning, and run blameless retros. You will also maintain a bullet-proof Git workflow (branching, code reviews, semantic commits, CI/CD gates) that keeps 100+ developers in sync.
• • Instrument your code with real-time analytics and error tracking so that we can detect and fix issues before a single client notices. You will partner with SREs to achieve sub-second global latency and 99.99 % availability.
• • Continuously refactor and optimize for accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), security (OWASP Top 10), and performance (Core Web Vitals). Your pull requests will set the gold standard for the entire 13,000-person organization.
• • Mentor junior developers through pair programming, brown-bag sessions, and lightning talks. You will help shape our engineering culture by documenting patterns, publishing internal blog posts, and contributing to open-source projects.
• • Stay ahead of the curve: evaluate experimental frameworks, run A/B tests, and feed insights back into the product roadmap. If a new CSS feature or WebAssembly module can shave 50 ms off a critical path, you will be the first to prototype it.
• • Travel occasionally (2–3 times per year) to our global hubs for hackathons, design sprints, and client workshops. These trips are an opportunity to see your code running on trading floors and in central-bank operations centers.

� Requirements

• • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM field
• • 2+ years of professional experience building production-grade web applications with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• • Deep expertise in at least one major front-end framework: Angular (2+) or React (16+)
• • Hands-on experience with Git, trunk-based development, and CI/CD pipelines
• • Fluency in English (minimum B2) and eligibility to work full-time in Italy (valid EU passport, visa, or work permit)
• • Nice-to-have: prior experience in distributed teams across time zones, knowledge of additional frameworks (Vue, Svelte), and a solid grasp of UX/UI design principles
