📋 Description

• As a Frontend Engineer on the Acceptance team at Primer Technologies, you will build and own the user-facing components of a global payment infrastructure that processes 10 million transactions daily, directly impacting how merchants deliver seamless checkout experiences to their customers.
• You will own frontend projects end-to-end — from scoping and architectural design through production deployment and monitoring — building composable, performant, and accessible UI components, SDKs, and developer tooling while contributing to RFCs and ADRs with minimal reliance on senior engineers.
• You will join a high-impact engineering team that values end-to-end ownership, collaborates closely with backend, product, and design, and operates in a remote-first, globally distributed environment where technical excellence and ownership are paramount.
• You will deepen your expertise in scalable frontend systems, TypeScript, web components, and payment domain knowledge while growing into a technical leader who shapes architecture, mentors peers, and drives quality across the team.

🎯 Requirements

• Solid frontend engineering experience with a track record of independently delivering production-grade work across the full lifecycle
• Extensive experience with TypeScript and ideally web components
• Strong understanding of how to build accessible, performant, maintainable UI at scale, especially in contexts where quality affects end users or downstream integrations
