- • Develop and maintain scalable frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and Next.js to support Duomo’s digital platform and user experiences.
- • Build and evolve an admin panel for managing content, quizzes, checkout flows, and user registration journeys with a focus on usability and reliability.
- • Create internal tools for the marketing team to enable rapid A/B testing experiments and data-driven decision-making.
- • Integrate frontend solutions with backend services via REST APIs, ensuring robust handling of async flows, error states, and data caching.
- • Optimize application performance through techniques including lazy loading, memoization, code splitting, and efficient state management to enhance user experience and load times.
- • Write, maintain, and expand unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Vitest, Testing Library, and Playwright to ensure code quality and regression prevention.
- • Support and improve CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployments, ensuring consistent, automated, and secure release processes.
- • Participate in technical decision-making, architecture reviews, and code reviews to uphold engineering standards and promote knowledge sharing across the team.
- • Implement and maintain frontend monitoring using Sentry (or equivalent tools) to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues proactively.
- • Apply frontend architecture best practices to design modular, reusable, and maintainable component systems that scale with product growth.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with backend engineers, product managers, and marketing teams to align technical implementation with business goals.
- • Contribute to improving developer experience by refining tooling, documentation, and workflows for the frontend engineering team.
- • Help transition Duomo from a content-rich app into a connected spiritual platform by building features that foster user engagement and habit formation.
- • Work within a venture builder environment (SKELAR) where you will influence long-term product direction and contribute to shaping engineering culture at an early stage.
- • Engage with a mission-driven product rooted in Christian values, serving users seeking spiritual renewal through daily Scripture engagement and inner peace.
- • Utilize Git-based collaboration practices, including branching strategies, pull requests, and peer reviews, to ensure clean and traceable code history.
- • Maintain high standards for web accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility across all frontend deliverables.
- • Support the ongoing evolution of Duomo’s tech stack by adopting new tools and frameworks that improve development efficiency and user outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of commercial experience with React and TypeScript
- • Strong understanding of SSR/SSG concepts and hands-on experience with Next.js (or similar frameworks)
- • Experience working with REST APIs, including async flows, error handling, and caching
- • Hands-on experience with client-side and server-side state management solutions (Redux Toolkit, TanStack Query, or similar)
- • Understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques such as lazy loading, memoization, and code splitting
- • Experience writing and maintaining unit, integration, and E2E tests using Vitest, Testing Library, and Playwright
