- • Local Infusion is revolutionizing specialty infusion care for patients with chronic autoimmune diseases, and we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Infusion Nurse (RN) to join our growing team in Morristown/Emerson, New Jersey. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of healthcare innovation, delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive and patient-centered environment. As a venture-backed healthcare company, we are committed to shaping the future of infusion therapy by focusing on patient experience, advanced technology, and seamless clinical integration. Our model is designed to reduce costs for patients while simultaneously enhancing their health outcomes, all within a setting that prioritizes the "local feel" of community, comfort, and connection.
- • In this vital role, you will be instrumental in providing direct patient care at one or more of our state-of-the-art care centers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that every patient receives the highest standard of care throughout their infusion therapy journey. This includes meticulous assessment, precise administration of treatments, and proactive patient education. We empower our nurses to work autonomously, leveraging their expertise to manage patient care effectively and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in starting IVs and a solid understanding of working with biologic drugs, which are central to the treatments our patients receive.
- • This Infusion Nurse position is perfectly suited for professionals who are eager to remain at the cutting edge of healthcare advancements. You will benefit from predictable work hours, a high degree of autonomy in your practice, and a manageable workload, consistently maintained at a 3:1 patient-to-clinician ratio. This ensures that you have the time and resources to provide truly individualized and attentive care to each patient. You will be a key player in our mission to transform the infusion care industry, making it a more positive and effective experience for everyone involved.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a broad range of clinical duties. You will conduct thorough assessments of patient health status, meticulously documenting findings to inform care plans. You will expertly administer infusions and injections, strictly adhering to prescribed protocols and organizational guidelines to ensure patient safety and treatment efficacy. Maintaining an organized and well-stocked medical inventory and supply area will also be part of your role, ensuring that all necessary materials are readily available for patient care.
- • Effective communication is paramount in this role. You will engage in open and clear communication with referring and prescribing providers, addressing order clarifications, providing updates on patient status, and collaborating on the overall plan of care. This collaborative approach ensures continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes. Furthermore, you will provide direct, onsite supervision for all patients during their infusion sessions, monitoring for any adverse reactions or changes in condition and responding promptly and appropriately.
- • Beyond direct patient care, you will contribute to the overall operational efficiency of the care center. This may involve participating in quality improvement initiatives, adhering to all safety and infection control standards, and contributing to a positive and professional work environment. Your commitment to excellence and your ability to adapt to a dynamic healthcare setting will be crucial to your success and the success of our organization. We are looking for individuals who embody our core values of ownership, excellence, a "getting to yes" attitude, curiosity, and a long-term perspective.
- • This role offers a unique blend of clinical expertise, patient advocacy, and operational contribution. If you are a compassionate, skilled RN with a passion for improving patient lives and a desire to be part of a forward-thinking healthcare company, we encourage you to apply. Join us at Local Infusion and help us redefine what infusion care can and should be.
