Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • As a Full Stack Engineer at Agent Inc., you will play a pivotal role in developing and scaling a modern property management platform that transforms how real estate stakeholders interact with properties, directly impacting operational efficiency and user experience for hundreds of properties.
- • You will work in a fast-moving, remote-first environment with close mentorship from the CTO and collaboration with the CEO, enabling significant influence over both platform evolution and internal automation initiatives.
- • Day to day, you will build and maintain features for the web-based property management platform using TypeScript, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS, ensuring high-quality, performant code within a monorepo architecture and two-week sprint cycles.
- • You will implement and maintain critical third-party integrations including DocuSign for lease signing, Plaid for bank verification, Stripe for payment processing, and custom ownership group payout systems to streamline financial and operational workflows.
- • You will optimize platform performance by addressing legacy inefficiencies, targeting reductions in load times (currently 20+ seconds) and replacing manual processes with automated, user-friendly solutions.
- • You will design and develop AI agents using Claude and other AI APIs to automate internal organizational processes, creating both API-based integrations and custom agents from scratch in collaboration with the CEO.
- • You will take ownership of tasks, independently researching and implementing solutions when encountering unfamiliar technologies, while proactively identifying improvements and contributing to architectural decisions.
- • You will collaborate within an agile team, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives, while maintaining clear communication despite asynchronous work patterns due to US business hours overlap requirements.
- • The company is a small, ambitious team building proprietary software to modernize property management, offering a unique opportunity to shape both product and engineering culture from an early stage.
- • You will work directly with the CTO and CEO, gaining mentorship from a top-tier developer and exposure to strategic decision-making, accelerating your growth in full-stack development, AI integration, and product-led engineering.
- • Through this role, you will deepen your expertise in modern TypeScript stacks, cloud infrastructure on AWS, AI agent development, and fintech-related integrations, positioning you for advancement in high-impact engineering roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2-4 years of professional software development experience with strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- • Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases, REST API design, and AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS)
- • Familiarity with monorepo architectures (Nx, Turborepo or similar) and agile/sprint-based development environments
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote work with flexible scheduling, requiring only overlap with US business hours for collaboration
- • Competitive monthly compensation ranging from $2,800 to $3,500 based on experience and performance
- • Direct mentorship from the CTO and collaboration with the CEO, offering accelerated professional growth and impact
