📋 Description

• • Join Outsight’s Data & Platform team in Paris as a Full-Stack Engineer and become the architect of real-time Spatial Intelligence that moves millions of passengers, vehicles, and robots every day. You will own the end-to-end journey that turns raw 3-D LiDAR point clouds into actionable KPIs displayed on elegant web dashboards used by operations managers at the world’s busiest airports, train stations, BMW plants, and Olympic stadiums.
• • Real-Time KPI Computation – Design and implement low-latency algorithms that convert streaming object tracks into customer-defined metrics such as occupancy heat-maps, queue lengths, dwell times, congestion scores, safety alerts, and staff-to-passenger ratios. Your pipelines will run 24 × 7 on our Kubernetes edge clusters and must sustain sub-second freshness even when 50,000 people move through a terminal.
• • Algorithmic Data Transformation – Go beyond simple counts: build probabilistic models that infer intent (e.g., “is this group queuing or merely socialising?”), detect anomalous behaviour, and predict near-term crowding. You will translate business questions from airport operators into mathematical logic, validate it against labelled data, and continuously retrain with feedback loops.
• • Cloud-Native Deployment – Package your services as Docker containers, define Helm charts, and work with the DevOps squad to roll out blue-green releases and canary tests. You will add Prometheus metrics, Grafana dashboards, and OpenTelemetry traces so that on-call engineers can diagnose issues at 3 a.m. without waking you.
• • Reactive Web Front-End – Craft intuitive, performant single-page applications using Vue 3, TypeScript, and Three.js/WebGL to visualise 3-D scenes, time-series charts, and geospatial layers. Your UI will let non-technical users slice data by terminal gate, retail zone, or vehicle lane, and export PDF reports in two clicks.
• • Third-Party Integrations – Build secure REST and GraphQL APIs so that partners such as Siemens Desigo CC, Genetec Security Center, or custom airport BI portals can embed Outsight widgets or pull KPI feeds. You will design authentication, rate-limiting, and schema versioning to keep everyone happy.
• • Data & BI Module – Extend our columnar data lake (Parquet on S3) and incremental ETL jobs (dbt, Airflow) that feed both real-time and historical analytics. You will optimise ClickHouse queries that aggregate billions of trajectories and enable product managers to answer “what-if” questions in seconds.
• • Cross-Team Collaboration – Work daily with perception researchers (C++, CUDA), field deployment engineers, and customer success managers. You will demo prototypes in customer war-rooms, absorb feedback on the spot, and iterate overnight to win the next sprint review.
