📋 Description

• Join Resilientco as a Senior Fullstack Engineer, a pivotal role focused on bringing Greenlight's core functionality to the web and shaping the future of our web platform. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead the development of world-class web experiences, translating sophisticated mobile features into intuitive and powerful web applications. You will be instrumental in defining the technical vision for a horizontal web platform, driving product innovation, and setting the bar for engineering excellence.
• As a frontend-oriented Fullstack Engineer, you will be at the forefront of modern web development. Your primary focus will be on leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as React, Next.js, and TypeScript to build engaging and performant user interfaces. You will translate complex mobile functionalities into seamless web experiences, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user journey across all platforms.
• Beyond the frontend, you will also own and manage the backend services that power these web products. This includes designing, modifying, and developing robust backend services using Node.js and Express, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and observable. You will play a key role in maintaining and evolving the platform's architecture, addressing technical debt, and ensuring the long-term health and efficiency of our systems.
• A significant part of your role will involve establishing and evangelizing engineering standards, best practices, and developer workflows. You will champion code quality through rigorous testing, thorough code reviews, and the implementation of robust CI/CD pipelines. Your commitment to quality will extend to integrating comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, into our automated delivery processes.
• You will also serve as a technical mentor and guide to other engineers on the team, providing technical leadership and sharing your expertise across both frontend and backend domains. This mentorship will foster a collaborative environment and elevate the overall technical capabilities of the team.
• Key responsibilities include:
• Designing and implementing sophisticated web experiences that accurately translate mobile features to the web, prioritizing world-class user experience.
• Defining and driving the technical strategy and long-term vision for the web platform, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and technological advancements.
• Establishing and promoting engineering standards, best practices, and efficient developer workflows to enhance productivity and code quality.
• Mentoring and providing technical guidance to engineers across the team, fostering their growth and ensuring alignment on technical approaches.
• Designing, modifying, and developing robust backend services using Node.js and Express to power web products, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Actively managing technical debt and leading the architectural evolution of the platform to ensure its continued relevance and performance.
• Championing code quality through comprehensive testing strategies, meticulous code reviews, and the implementation of effective CI/CD practices.
• Ensuring the reliability, performance, and observability of all web services through proactive monitoring and system design.
• Integrating comprehensive testing and automation, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, into the software delivery process.

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience with a demonstrated track record of technical leadership.
• Deep expertise in React and Next.js (Remix experience is also required).
• Strong experience with TypeScript for both frontend and backend development.
• Proven experience building REST APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.
• Experience with modern build tools and monorepos (e.g., Turborepo).
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Cypress, React Testing Library, Jest).
• Experience designing systems for scalability, reliability, and observability.
• Experience with gRPC and REST API patterns.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
