- • Own complex product areas end-to-end, from architecture decisions through implementation, deployment, and post-launch iteration, with minimal supervision.
- • Drive technical direction independently without waiting for tickets or detailed specs, making decisions based on logic, data, and product impact.
- • Provide direct engineering input to Product and leadership teams, pushing back on unrealistic scope, flagging risks, and proposing better technical solutions.
- • Take full responsibility for the reliability, performance, and scalability of high-traffic production systems used by hundreds of thousands of global customers.
- • Lead and participate in code reviews to raise engineering standards across the team and ensure code quality, maintainability, and readability.
- • Mentor mid-level engineers, helping elevate the team’s technical bar through guidance, feedback, and example.
- • Contribute to hiring and onboarding new engineers, including evaluating technical fit and cultural alignment.
- • Set up, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and development workflows to enable fast, reliable deployments.
- • Monitor, debug, and improve the stability of production systems in a high-volume, revenue-critical environment.
- • Help shape engineering culture and best practices as the team scales, promoting ownership, accountability, and speed without compromising quality.
- • Build and ship features in days, not weeks, balancing rapid iteration with long-term system maintainability.
- • Work with React and Next.js (App Router) in production, leveraging TypeScript and modern frontend architecture patterns to deliver scalable user interfaces.
- • Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, write efficient queries, and implement data modeling strategies for high-performance applications.
- • Apply caching strategies using Redis or equivalent technologies to improve application performance under heavy load.
- • Utilize Git, Docker, and modern development workflows to manage codebases and containerized deployments.
- • Work within cloud-based environments such as AWS and Cloudflare, configuring infrastructure and services to support product scale.
- • Implement and interpret A/B testing frameworks and leverage analytics to inform product decisions and optimize user experiences.
- • Collaborate within the CET time zone (±4 hours), ensuring real-time communication and alignment with global engineering and product teams.
- • Contribute to the development of D2C subscription-based products with a focus on monetization, user retention, and operational efficiency.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of hands-on, production experience building and maintaining full-stack web applications.
- • Strong, practical experience with React and Next.js, including at least 2 years working with the Next.js App Router in production.
- • Deep understanding of TypeScript and modern frontend architecture patterns.
- • Proven ability to own features end-to-end — from vague requirements to production-ready implementation.
- • Solid experience with PostgreSQL, including query optimization, schema design, and data modeling.
- • Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environments (AWS, Cloudflare preferred).
