📋 Description

• • Ship full-stack features end to end across Nash’s agentic layer, building React and TypeScript interfaces for operators alongside Python services and LLM workflows that power autonomous decision-making agents.
• • Develop agent capabilities that resolve real logistics operational issues such as rerouting deliveries around closures, reassigning stuck orders, and surfacing accurate answers to dispatchers during shifts.
• • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and operations teams to translate messy, real-world logistics workflows into clean, functional systems that reflect how customers actually run their businesses.
• • Participate in system design discussions with senior engineers on agent reasoning, autonomy boundaries, and human-in-the-loop handoff protocols for critical logistics decisions.
• • Write clean, well-tested code in Python and React/TypeScript, adhering to team standards through code reviews and iterative feedback loops.
• • Debug issues spanning frontend interfaces, backend services, and LLM behavior using observability tools and evaluation frameworks to catch failures before impacting customers.
• • Build responsive, high-trust user interfaces with deep attention to latency, loading states, error handling, and edge cases that determine whether operators accept or reject agent recommendations.
• • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Nash’s intelligent layer by identifying gaps in agent performance and proposing product-driven improvements grounded in real operator feedback.
• • Engage directly with customers’ operational teams to observe how agents are used in live environments and refine features based on actual usage patterns.
• • Work on a hybrid-first team based in San Francisco, splitting time between in-office collaboration and remote development with access to senior engineers and founders.
• • Take ownership of production code from day one, deploying features that are used by enterprise customers including Walmart, 7-Eleven, Woolworths, and Coles.
• • Contribute to the development of evals and metrics that measure agent reliability, accuracy, and operator trust, ensuring system decisions align with business objectives.
• • Interface with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and REST APIs to manage and retrieve operational data critical to agent decision-making and UI rendering.
• • Participate in team retrospectives and sprint planning to prioritize tasks, estimate effort, and deliver incremental value toward closing the Logistics Singularity.
• • Learn and apply best practices in software engineering including version control, testing, CI/CD, and documentation while working in a fast-paced, high-stakes logistics environment.
• • Build products where every decision impacts the physical world—where a wrong recommendation can delay a grocery delivery or disrupt a pharmacy supply chain.
• • Contribute to an AI-native platform that coordinates couriers, gig workers, internal fleets, store employees, and autonomous systems in real time under shifting conditions.
