- • Own the entire content lifecycle for Maven’s fast-growing marketplace, from first-touch blog posts and SEO pages to in-product nurture emails and lifecycle campaigns that turn curious visitors into lifelong learners.
- • Architect and execute a full-funnel content strategy that supports 500+ live cohort-based courses, 70K alumni success stories, and 700K registered users—translating complex topics like AI Product Management or Meta-scale engineering into clear, compelling narratives that drive 80-90 % engagement (vs. the industry’s 5-10 %).
- • Build and manage a high-performing, remote-first content team (writers, editors, SEO specialists, email marketers, and freelancers) while rolling up your sleeves to produce flagship pieces yourself—balancing thought-leadership depth with conversion-focused copy.
- • Partner directly with OpenAI product heads, Meta engineering leads, and other marquee instructors to co-create authoritative content that positions Maven as the definitive destination for cutting-edge professional education.
- • Design and optimize lifecycle email sequences, in-app messages, and push notifications that guide prospects from discovery to enrollment, and graduates from one course to an entire certificate or MBA-like program.
- • Leverage data from HubSpot, Customer.io, GA4, and Amplitude to run rigorous A/B tests on subject lines, CTAs, content formats, and send-time optimization—turning insights into 10 %+ lifts in open, click, and conversion rates.
- • Establish a scalable content calendar that aligns product launches, instructor spotlights, alumni case studies, and SEO keyword clusters with quarterly OKRs—ensuring every asset ladders up to revenue and retention targets.
- • Create multi-channel distribution playbooks (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, industry newsletters, and partner blogs) that extend the reach of each piece of content and build Maven’s brand authority in AI, product, engineering, and leadership domains.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with growth, product, and sales to craft sales-enablement collateral, landing pages, and nurture tracks that shorten enterprise deal cycles when Maven begins selling directly to businesses.
- • Champion a culture of experimentation and learning—documenting what works, sunsetting what doesn’t, and sharing wins company-wide so every team benefits from your content engine.
- • Report directly to the Head of Growth; your work will be visible at the board level and will materially influence Maven’s evolution from a DTC marketplace to a comprehensive, university-alternative education platform.
