📋 Description

• Design, code, and modify multiple top-performing casual online games using Unity, with a primary focus on 2D game development.
• Ensure games deliver high reliability, smooth performance, and an exceptional user experience across all platforms.
• Collaborate closely with fellow Unity developers to build scalable, reusable systems and share knowledge through peer reviews and pair programming.
• Work in alignment with product, design, and backend teams to integrate new features, polish gameplay mechanics, and deliver updates that engage millions of players.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases by identifying technical debt, optimizing performance, and implementing clean, maintainable code patterns.
• Apply game development concepts and design patterns such as state machines, object pooling, event systems, and scene management to enhance gameplay stability and scalability.
• Integrate and troubleshoot networked game systems that communicate with server-side infrastructure for features like matchmaking, leaderboards, and in-game purchases.
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned features, from initial prototyping and implementation through testing, deployment, and post-launch monitoring.
• Rapidly onboard into existing project codebases and adapt to established coding standards, workflows, and version control practices.
• Proactively identify and solve technical challenges with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail when debugging, testing, and refining game systems to ensure bug-free, polished releases.
• Effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks and priorities, balancing feature development with maintenance and optimization efforts.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development workflows, enhance code quality, or generate asset prototypes, with either existing experience or a demonstrated willingness to learn.
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration by offering constructive feedback, participating in team planning, and supporting cross-functional team goals.
• Align daily tasks with broader business objectives by understanding how individual contributions impact player retention, monetization, and overall game success.
• Communicate clearly and regularly with stakeholders across teams to ensure technical feasibility, timeline accuracy, and shared understanding of requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years experience in game development with Unity, preferred in 2D games.
• Good knowledge of game development concepts and design patterns.
• Familiarity with networking and games that communicate with server-side infrastructure.
• Experience collaborating with others on a shared codebase.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with ownership of work from start to finish.
• Comfort using AI tools, with experience or a growth mindset.
