📋 Description

• As a Game Mathematician at Partyhat Inc., you will serve as a 'Volatility Architect' designing the mathematical core of iGaming slot experiences, transforming raw numbers into player excitement through precise probability modeling and game mechanics.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include engineering advanced mathematical models for slots, implementing them in clean Java code, running trillions of simulation rounds for validation, collaborating with artists and developers to align math with audio-visual elements, analyzing live game telemetry to refine models, and producing technical documentation for regulatory compliance.
• You will join an elite, multi-disciplinary engine room at Partyhat Inc., working closely with slot developers, digital artists, animators, and product owners in a fast-paced, high-availability environment where the iGaming market operates 24/7/365.
• This role offers the opportunity to build a legacy by engineering math engines that drive player retention and revenue, with clear pathways to lead the company’s gaming architecture and analytics ecosystem based on performance and innovation rather than pedigree.

🎯 Requirements

• World-class mastery of probability theory, combinatorics, and statistical modeling with the ability to see human behavior in numbers
• Robust, hands-on experience writing and deploying clean Java code to build simulation environments and game logic components
• Profound understanding of what makes iGaming titles exciting, volatile, and retentive, including player perception of near-misses and bonus mechanics
• Ability to operate with hyper-availability, including 7-day-a-week readiness to handle real-time simulation pivots, launch validations, and urgent math revisions
• Operational autonomy: capable of managing complex statistical projects independently with high energy, zero ego, and relentless focus on execution
