- • The Generative AI Analyst role at Welocalize, Inc. is a pivotal position supporting a high-impact machine learning project focused on advancing large language model (LLM) capabilities through expertly crafted prompts, responses, and training data. This role directly contributes to the quality, consistency, and real-world applicability of AI systems by ensuring linguistic precision and contextual relevance across diverse topics, making it essential for developing trustworthy and effective generative AI technologies.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include creating high-quality, nuanced prompts and responses in U.S. English that reflect real-world usage across domains such as healthcare, finance, technology, and culture; leading and coordinating data labeling initiatives with both internal teams and external partners to maintain scalability and accuracy; developing and maintaining clear, comprehensive annotation guidelines that standardize labeling practices and reduce ambiguity; conducting regular quality audits of labeled data to identify inconsistencies and provide corrective feedback; collaborating with machine learning engineers and linguists to align data outputs with model training objectives; mentoring and training junior analysts and labelers on best practices for prompt engineering and LLM data preparation; staying current with emerging trends in generative AI, prompt design, and evaluation methodologies to continuously improve data quality; and documenting processes and outcomes to support project scalability and knowledge transfer.
