- • Translate a wide range of financial and technical content including website materials, account applications, trading platforms (IBKR Desktop, Client Portal, IBKR Mobile), client communication emails, bulletins, and announcements from English to German and vice versa.
- • Translate FAQs, user guides, and documentation to ensure accurate and consistent communication with German-speaking clients.
- • Maintain and update glossaries and translation memories (TMs) to ensure terminology consistency across all translated materials.
- • Perform quality assurance by proofreading and editing existing translations to meet high standards of accuracy and linguistic fluency.
- • Process and format various document types, ensuring translations are properly structured and ready for deployment.
- • Work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, global financial environment while maintaining strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- • Utilize CAT tools daily for translation tasks; configuration and advanced use of CAT tools is expected.
- • Leverage AI technology as an auxiliary tool to enhance translation efficiency and quality.
- • Apply knowledge of financial terminology, trading concepts, and technical marketing language to ensure contextually accurate translations.
- • Manage multiple translation projects simultaneously with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- • Demonstrate self-confidence, flexibility, and adaptability in a multicultural, team-oriented workplace.
- • Operate with minimal supervision, showing initiative and accountability for delivering high-quality translations on schedule.
- • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve linguistic and contextual challenges in financial content.
- • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal stakeholders to clarify translation nuances and requirements.
- • Contribute to continuous improvement of translation workflows and quality standards within the localization team.
🎯 Requirements
- • Native German speaker
- • Proficient in English
- • MA or BA degree in Translation or related discipline
- • Minimum 3 years relevant experience translating finance-related content or working within a financial institution
- • CAT tool daily operation experience (configuration and advanced use preferred)
- • Experience using AI technology as an auxiliary tool in translation workflows
