- • As a Global Benefits Advisor at Safeguard Global, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing comprehensive benefits programs for our diverse international clientele. This remote-first position is designed for a UK pension expert eager to expand their horizons into the broader landscape of global employee benefits, offering a unique opportunity to blend specialized domestic knowledge with emerging international expertise.
- • Your core responsibility will be to deliver end-to-end pension administration services, meticulously handling all aspects of employee lifecycle events such as joiners, leavers, retirements, transfers, and other significant life events. This includes the precise management of pension schedules and reconciliations for both Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) schemes, ensuring accuracy and compliance at every step.
- • You will act as a key liaison, partnering closely with internal HR and Payroll departments, as well as external pension providers and trustees. This collaborative approach is essential for ensuring the smooth, compliant, and efficient operation of pension schemes, fostering strong working relationships built on trust and shared objectives.
- • A significant part of your role will involve supporting critical annual pension activities. This includes the timely and accurate generation of employee statements, facilitating audits, managing revaluations, and preparing comprehensive trustee reports. Your attention to detail will be paramount in maintaining the integrity of these processes.
- • Maintaining impeccable records is a fundamental aspect of this role. You will be responsible for ensuring all pension-related data, systems, and documentation are accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready at all times, providing a solid foundation for compliance and operational excellence.
- • You will also be instrumental in supporting auto-enrollment cycles, a crucial component of UK pension legislation. This involves understanding the intricacies of these processes and ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- • A key element of your client-facing responsibilities will be to resolve escalations effectively and proactively engage with clients to enhance employee engagement with their benefits. Your ability to communicate complex information clearly will be vital in educating employees about their benefit options, including any limitations or exclusions.
- • You will take ownership of developing and maintaining robust benefit processes and associated documentation, ensuring consistency and clarity across all operations. This includes identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices.
- • Furthermore, you will contribute to benefits projects by applying strong analytical skills to assess needs, evaluate options, and recommend improvements that align with business goals and financial objectives. This proactive approach will drive the evolution of our benefits offerings.
- • Collaboration extends beyond internal teams; you will work with external partners to streamline our overall approach to benefits management, seeking efficiencies and enhancing service delivery.
- • You will actively participate in identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities across the benefits function, contributing to a culture of continuous enhancement and operational excellence.
- • Managing your assigned client base will require a keen focus on ensuring key performance metrics and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met, demonstrating your commitment to client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- • Your role will involve analyzing and evaluating client needs based on historical data and current circumstances to recommend the most suitable benefit options, ensuring tailored and effective solutions.
- • While prior international benefits experience is not a prerequisite, this role offers an exceptional platform to develop significant exposure to global benefits practices and multi-country benefit programs, significantly broadening your professional expertise.
- • Safeguard Global champions a "work in any way" philosophy, empowering you with the autonomy and flexibility to structure your workday around your life, whether that's from your home office, a local café, or even while traveling, all while ensuring deadlines are met and high standards are maintained. This is a truly remote-first opportunity.
