📋 Description

  • As the Global Head of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) at CSL Limited, you will be the central architect and strategic leader responsible for the end-to-end IBP process across the enterprise. This pivotal role encompasses Portfolio, Demand, Supply, Inventory, and Financial Integration, ensuring a fully synchronized and financially aligned ‘One Plan’ that underpins reliable product supply, operational excellence, and informed enterprise decision-making.
  • You will define, govern, and advance the global IBP operating model, driving planning maturity and establishing best practices. This includes setting global policy, defining cross-functional roles and responsibilities, and shaping the strategic direction of CSL’s planning capabilities for a 1-3 year business impact.
  • This executive leadership position requires regular engagement with senior leadership, including the Supply Chain Leadership Team (SCLT), Executive IBP, and the Global Operations Leadership Team. You will be instrumental in driving executive alignment on complex scenarios, trade-offs, risks, and overall planning outcomes.
  • You will tackle highly complex, cross-functional, and often ambiguous planning challenges. This involves conceptualizing innovative systems, frameworks, governance constructs, advanced analytics, and organizational models to overcome these hurdles.
  • As the owner of the IBP transformation program, you will lead multi-year initiatives focused on modernizing planning processes, driving digital enablement in partnership with Business Process Owners (BPO) and Digital/IT teams, advancing organizational maturity, and building enterprise-wide capabilities.
  • You will lead and develop multiple global departments, including the E2E IBP Integration function, Global Demand Planning, and Global Supply Planning. This includes establishing operating plans, setting clear performance expectations, and managing annual planning cycles for all IBP-related departments.
  • A key responsibility is directing the integration of risk-balanced, financially aligned, cross-functional scenarios for critical reviews like the Demand/Supply Review and Executive IBP. This ensures alignment with commercial strategy, operational constraints, financial guidance, and product/market priorities.
  • You will drive the modernization of planning processes, governance routines, cross-functional planning behaviors, and operating mechanisms. Owning the global IBP transformation program involves defining the roadmap and implementing a comprehensive maturity model.
  • You will ensure that system capabilities effectively support scenario planning, data readiness, integration, and end-to-end visibility. This requires close collaboration with BPO and Digital/IT to shape the long-term IBP technology strategy.
  • Influencing executive leaders and driving adoption of IBP standards, scenario readiness expectations, and governance requirements across the organization will be crucial for success.
  • You will develop and implement IBP operational plans designed to enhance global planning performance, system adoption, data quality, and process adherence through both short- and mid-term initiatives.
  • Solving multi-dimensional, often undefined planning challenges related to data, systems, organizational structure, capacity, supply-demand balance, and financial alignment is a core function of this role.
  • You will be responsible for conceptualizing new process frameworks, governance models, scenario architectures, and analytical constructs to continuously improve the IBP function.
  • Overseeing IBP performance metrics, including maturity, scenario readiness, adherence, cycle health, and data quality, is essential. You will drive root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions across enterprise teams.
  • Building a world-class IBP organization is a key objective, achieved through strong mentorship, development programs, and fostering robust succession pipelines.
  • This role requires a visionary leader who can translate complex business needs into actionable planning strategies and drive significant organizational change within a global, complex environment.
