Our mission is to put patients first and improve lives, and we are seeking passionate, curious, and innovative problem solvers to join our team and meaningfully shape the future of cardiac health, our company, and their own careers.
  • • The Government Affairs and Health Policy Senior Manager will play a pivotal role as a highly strategic individual contributor, focusing on advancing the company’s federal policy and reimbursement priorities. This critical position is designed to foster strategic engagement with U.S. federal policymakers and the Executive Branch, with the overarching goal of furthering iRhythm’s public policy objectives and regulatory interests.

A significant emphasis will be placed on direct advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill, coupled with ongoing, proactive engagement with key federal agencies, including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The Senior Manager will operate as a registered federal lobbyist, adeptly representing the company’s interests, fostering strong collaborations with external consultants and influential trade associations, and skillfully translating complex public policy developments into actionable reimbursement insights.

This involves maintaining a keen awareness of evolving policies, accurately interpreting their potential impact on company operations, and actively participating in advocacy efforts to shape favorable outcomes.
  • • Cultivate and maintain robust, long-term relationships with key policymakers on Capitol Hill, influential government officials, relevant agencies, and leading industry associations to effectively promote and protect the company’s strategic interests. Consistent, credible dialogue is paramount for advancing organizational priorities.
  • • Establish and nurture collaborative relationships with prominent patient advocacy groups and professional associations that align with prioritized policy issues. Engage in direct, one-on-one meetings and maintain ongoing contact with leaders within these organizations to proactively advocate for the company’s objectives and identify opportunities for synergistic joint efforts.
  • • Continuously assess the executive, regulatory, and legislative landscape to identify potential risks and emerging opportunities. Provide senior leadership with comprehensive, insightful briefings that include well-reasoned, actionable recommendations based on the latest developments and trends.
  • • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key Administration officials to ensure that iRhythm’s unique perspectives and needs are thoughtfully considered in policy discussions and decision-making processes. Enhance internal understanding of the federal policymaking process across all business units by sharing valuable insights and facilitating knowledge transfer.
  • • Provide regular, timely updates to executive leadership and relevant internal teams regarding significant legislative developments, ensuring clear communication of key changes and their potential impact on the organization's strategy and operations.
  • • Build and leverage strategic coalitions and actively participate in trade associations to effectively advance iRhythm’s policy agenda. Represent iRhythm at coalition meetings, partner meetings, and industry briefings, contributing actively to discussions and initiatives within organizations where iRhythm holds membership.
  • • **Reimbursement Support Responsibilities:**
  • • Provide strategic support for Medicare reimbursement initiatives related to iRhythm’s innovative offerings, encompassing critical activities such as coverage, coding, and payment strategies. Place a particular emphasis on understanding and influencing Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) dynamics and Medicare Part B policy changes to ensure optimal reimbursement outcomes.
