- • The GPS Business Analyst III role at MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. is critical to supporting internal and external clients through data-driven analysis that enhances healthcare value and operational efficiency. This position ensures accurate reporting, resolves data discrepancies, and supports client implementations by transforming complex data into actionable insights that inform decision-making across the pharmacy benefits management lifecycle.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include extracting, analyzing, and reconciling MedImpact’s data with prior vendor data during client implementations; developing and maintaining standard and ad hoc reporting packages using SQL, Oracle, Business Objects, and MS Office tools; documenting reporting processes and client specifications; educating internal and external stakeholders on reporting tools; participating in Sprint Management and testing; and recommending reporting enhancements to improve accuracy, timeliness, and usability of information.

- • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in healthcare data analytics, Medicaid reporting, and PBM-specific systems while developing advanced skills in data validation, stakeholder communication, and process documentation. Opportunities exist to lead special projects such as designing SOWs and SOPs for rebate initiatives, positioning the analyst as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to leadership and clients.
🎯 Requirements
- • BS/BA degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination
- • Medicaid reporting experience required
- • Strong proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook) for data analysis and documentation
- • Working knowledge of Oracle, Business Objects, and SQL strongly preferred
- • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills for managing internal and external client interactions
