- • Develop and execute a comprehensive grant strategy aligned with Crossroads Treatment Centers’ mission to expand access to medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder.
- • Strategically identify and pursue federal and state grant opportunities focused on rural healthcare transformation, addiction medicine, and behavioral health services across all states where Crossroads operates.
- • Serve as the primary liaison between the Grants and Government Affairs departments to align funding initiatives with legislative, regulatory, and public funding priorities.
- • Monitor state and federal policy developments, appropriations, and rural health initiatives to proactively uncover new grant and public funding opportunities.
- • Translate complex funding intelligence into actionable grant concepts, concept papers, and proposal development plans in collaboration with clinical, finance, operational, and executive teams.
- • Lead the end-to-end grant submission process, including preparation, review, and timely submission through HRSA EHB, eraCommons, grants.gov, and other federal/state portals.
- • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for grant-funded programs to measure impact on patient access, outcomes, and financial sustainability.
- • Monitor grant performance metrics including quality indicators, billing accuracy, and accounts receivable to ensure compliance and optimal reimbursement.
- • Support grant reporting requirements for PIMS, NOMS, SPARS, and other mandated systems used by federal and state agencies.
- • Coordinate monthly information exchange between revenue cycle, CFO, and clinical operations managers to align reimbursement trends with grant activities and training needs.
- • Conduct ongoing analysis of grant performance across all clinics and regions to identify opportunities for improvement and scalability.
- • Support the revenue cycle team in invoicing and collecting on grant-funded services.
- • Perform cost analysis and rate studies to inform grant budgeting and financial planning.
- • Contribute to the design and maintenance of reimbursement procedures and controls within billing and financial systems.
- • Maintain accurate records of all grant contracts and fee schedules in the contract management and billing software, with monthly updates to reflect changes.
- • Direct and participate in the analysis and reporting of reimbursement data for all grant activities.
- • Manage a team of two or more grant program development staff, providing guidance, oversight, and performance feedback.
- • Facilitate regular grant meetings and operational workflows in close partnership with the Grants department manager.
- • Ensure all grant activities comply with Crossroads Treatment Centers’ operational standards and core values.
- • Build and maintain strong credibility and positive relationships with internal stakeholders, external funders, and community partners.
- • Travel quarterly to the corporate office in Greenville, SC, to support in-person collaboration and strategic planning.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree
- • At least 5 years of third-party grant management experience
- • Experience in negotiation
- • Existing relationships with state and federal payment sources
- • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and business-related software
- • Ability to manage a team of two or more direct reports
